Steve Gabbani at Lawlors actually acted for our seller, but I wanted to leave a review for his firm as - unusually - he was great to deal with from a buyer’s point of view, and we felt very fairly treated in the bidding process and onward transaction. Steve is of the old school, he knows the market inside out and prides himself on personal service, communication and chasing up the whole chain. He was excellent when the (idiots) above us in the chain stuffed up the first attempt to exchange, and kept everything on track. I hope to live inside the lovely property he sold us for some time, but would not hesitate to recommend him if you are thinking of selling yours and need a talented local expert.

From bringing around qualified potential buyers for viewing (as opposed to a constant string of non-viablw options) to ensuring the parties are all appraised of ongoings and the transaction ticking along. Our purchase was a long and complicated one through no fault of ours or the seller however, the service offered by Steve at Lawlors was incredible. Steve ensured we were updated with every development in the long chain which was continually revealing issues, only delaying completion. He not only was keeping us updating but supported us fully throughout the purchase, guiding us and taking the initiative to resolve the problems arising. Steve ensured he was communicating with everyone involved in the chain which kept us reassured and encouraged us to hang on for as long as we did. At no point did we feel we couldn't reach Steve and he was prompt at returning calls if missed even if it was out of office hours. The house-sale process in England has been quite eye-opening to me, someone who was not raised here, and certainly not without its frustration, disappointments and incredulity at the unfathomable process. Having said that, I don't believe we could have found a better estate agent to sell our property. The Lawlors Loughton Branch have been faultless. We've been particularly thankful for Shana Jagger's management of the sale of our home. She has shown herself to be extremely diligent in handling our queries, and equally competent at acting as a mediator between ourselves and our buyers. Shana has managed to prompt our at times deficient solicitor firm to follow up on negotiations and paperwork where we, the clients, have been unsuccessful in doing so. I honestly don't think this process would have completed at all had it not been for Shana's competence and professionalism. She's an asset to all.

I have had a great experience with Lawlors following the recent sale of my property and purchase of my new property. The team as a whole provided excellent customer service throughout the process from start to end. However, I would like to place on record and acknowledge my special thanks to Mr Steve Gabbani who I would say went above and beyond to help my husband and I through the process and a journey that was far from easy. We viewed a couple of properties through Lawlors and fell in love with one (the one we eventually purchased), our offer was accepted subject to our house being put on sale and at that point, Steve came to our rescue, visited my property, valued it, gave me advice and put the house on the market. I had many other estate agents visit my property but the comfort, transparency and experience that Steve demonstrated, made us go ahead with Lawlors. Our property got sold instantly at a price we were very pleased with and I think this was down to the way the property was advertised and how potential buyers were vetted prior to viewings. Throughout the process, Steve kept us up to date with the progress etc with both the sale of my property and the purchase of the new property. There were many challenges we had to face as we were part of a chain, to a point where the buyers for our property had to pull out at the at the last minute due to the delay it took for the vendor of the property I wanted in finding somewhere, however Steve arranged for the property to go back onto the market within a week or so and then managed to secure another sale without no hassle at all, this again demonstrated his years of experience and knowledge in this field. We have finally moved into our new home and all I can say that is was all made possible because of Steve! He supported us throughout everything giving us the reassurance and support we so needed. He took great pride in understanding our motivation for selling and buying and familiarised himself with what we wanted as a family, every interaction I had with Steve was pleasant, professional, reassuring and full of dedication, we had so much trust and faith in Steve that is very rare to do these days. Steve went the extra mile for us as a family which resulted in the sale and purchase of my properties, I can’t thank him enough for everything he has done for us, his knowledge, experience, professionalism and dedication to his work is beyond belief and we believe that we have made a real friend in the industry someone that we would come to in the future and recommend to family and friends. I was very new to this procedure but Anna took the viewing and then called me once the tenant had made an offer and guided me through the whole process for which I can’t thank her enough. You have refused to refund £1650 when a client didn’t even move into the property. The property in Repton park was so filthy - had blood stains on bathroom wall- smoke damage to rooms. A stinking filthy fridge with fumes damage to wall directly behind. Dead flies and thick dust on light shades prove no cleaning done before tenant was to move in. Windows that were very difficult to open. All this in COVID is a disgrace- The property failed the inventory - Lawlors employee stating this apartment is not fit for rent on video. The property was not painted as promised before move in date. How can someone be charged £1650 and not even move in. That is unacceptable. We will pursue a full refund.
