GoogleI had a great experience from start to finish with loc8me. Sophie was extremely helpful, I had never rented before and she took the time to explain the process and made sure I was happy and comfortable with everything. Sophie was very professional, but her bright personality made me feel like I was talking to a friend. Would definitely recommend.

GoogleWaste of time. Very slow at getting things done. Was promised a shed key for my bike.. didn’t get it until my bike was stolen from the garden. The deposit is a scam and is just used to take money from you, and is definitely not protected in anyway. Also, definitely don’t go all inclusive on bills. We saved thousands by doing bills ourselves. Unlucky scammers.

Never rent through this company in Manchester. I can’t speak on the other locations however i’m a tenant in one of the Manchester houses. We've had no heating since moving in two months ago and complained and filed reports multiple times, yet this company are completely incompetent to sort anything out. We also have a broken window on the front of the house meaning anyone can climb in to the property yet this clearly isn’t a priority to them. We also don’t have a tumble dryer so it takes us 4 days to dry our clothes as the house is freezing. If you go with Loc8me Manchester, expect nothing, zero customer service and you’ll live in illegal and horrendous conditions; but they’ll take your rent money!

AVOID I have finished my 12 month student tenancy with this company and it has been anything but easy… If you wish to avoid any of the following please reconsider :Booking maintenance and viewings with no notice.If there’s viewing notice 9 times out of 10 no one shows.Poor, unprofessional communication from property manager who did not explain financial issues well to us when queried. Claiming I did not pay excess utility spend when there is proof of payment, turns out they hadn’t transferred it from my rent account.Expecting us to leave our bedroom doors open whilst out at university for a viewing which may or may not happen. The levels of stress experienced by this company simply isn’t worth it, go elsewhere!

I would have given zero stars if possible. They cancelled the tenancy 10 days before moving date and did not provide any solutions. Please do not use. Use a local agency.

GoogleNot very helpful. We pay extortionate prices to live as students in Loughborough and the service does not match this. I have to repeatedly ask many times to get minor pieces of maintenance done and I think for what we pay this is incredibly rubbish.

Loc8 me took over building I was renting my flat in in around May 2022 (move in September 2022). Can’t fault their property manager Phil as he was really quick to sort any issues out (moved in to flat with a TV with no power cable, etc). Main benefit of them taking over was them replacing the circuit laundry with normal washing machines and dryers which were significantly better as well as free (compared to £5 per wash and dry). Moved out of the flat end of June and got full deposit back (little bit of hassle with the deposit being returned due to some money being sent to previous company who ran building and some being sent directly to Loc8Me) but good communication and got it all sorted in the end. Would recommend them from personal experience

Started of well speaking with Shoaib, but then when we got passed to the mangers to take on a whole property they had no idea what they were doing, we had to almost tell them what to do. Messaged them and emailed but no response on the next steps. Went in to speak with them and the manager she confirmed they would send the next steps. However after two weeks, nothing back even after two follow up emails. They have missed out on a great opportunity, taking my business else where.

STAY AWAY! DO NOT RENT!I could write essays about how disgusting this company is first off they are extremely unprofessional and scandalous from arguing and speaking down to tenants on group chats then deleting the chats and kicking everyone to ensure nothing gets out to the internet dropping out every 2 months and then tasking 3-6 hrs to fix it, extremely unorganised maintenance takes forever to get done and when they arrive they are completely unaware of what flat to go to and which room needs maintenance and the most disgusting horrible thing of all they mess with the contract as my move out date was changes to a month earlier and they also try to scam you out of your deposit by charging you for the dumbest stuff.PLEASE FOR YOUR OWN SAKE DO NOT RENT WITH THIS AGENCY I CANNOT EMPHASISE THIS ENOUGH!!!!!
