Want to say a MASSIVE thanks to all the staff at Andrews Longwell Green. Lamont gave good advice & hints & tips on how to make our house desirable & also the pricing of our house, Gemma came & took lovely pictures which were true & not photo shopped (I’ve seen many that are) & then Alex sold our house within 1 day! This estate agent caused problems with the purchase of our home. We attached 2 conditions with an offer on a property. To take it off the market and to include a large and costly fitted blind with the sale. Andrews didn't convey the second condition. When this issue came to light they did not take responsibility and asked the buyer to include it, rather than just reimburse the seller. The inability to convey simple and clear terms of an offer caused both the buyer and seller stress and it was only the generosity of the seller that resolved it.

Purchased our new property through this estate agent, a few issues, who ever handled it gave our wrong details to the sellers solicitors which held up the sale and was only rectified as a result of myself calling to get an update. we were told the 4 blown window panels would be replaced and they were not also when asked a question about the property after the sale was completed we had no reply. Apart from this they were ok.

Please read this! Not a good experience with this estate agent at all. If and when they tell you they have a good relationship with a seller. Be extremely careful as in my case it wasn’t to be a positive for me. Andrews were only interested in ramping up the price of a repossessed house to line their own pockets with commission. To tell you you’ve been out-bid when you haven’t. Make sure you have proof of another bid being listed on a public notice before increasing your own bid. Especially if it’s “conveniently” done through a separate estate agent. Do not move until this is the case, as they will be on the phone putting pressure on you. I am in the process of reporting Andrews to the ombudsman. They cost me thousands by lying. I did call their bluff and the individual i was dealing with was speechless and she couldn’t give me an explanation. Caught absolutely red handed. It’s funny how the phone did not ring again after i did so too. I would not recommend this lot, & i’ll never use them ever again. Be very very careful.
