jessica ceo spoke 14.01.2026 at 10.16 am and before that but phone went flat and also after 10.16 she spoke to me and helped me she didnt put phone down she didnt blame me she didnt ask intrusive questions she didn't pretend to understand she took her own time go into my case and she read messages from me and my housing officer nick i think and feel same way about his effort and help also but i called up crying YH and Panicking and worrying about nothing.... i WANT to move to Birmingham i want new start and i want my own life i want control not ky mother and father anymore not kevin anymore not my son izaac dad anymore. i want this move for me!!!! amd i cant expect Mothers or fathers or friends or anyone to understand and liek the lady taught me thats okay it not okay that family make me feel wrong its not its not okay for family to say i deserve anything happens to me its okay to help myself and love myself thank u Jessica xxxxx

My partner and I moved into a flat let and managed by York Estates yesterday , and today we noticed the oven wasn’t working. We email them at 10am and they sent someone to have a look around midday. By 5pm we have a new oven! Having lived in 5 different countries I have never seen a property management with this level of service and efficiency! We are very impressed and grateful, and now we have an oven for our Christmas dinner ❤️ Thank you Zena and team!

Great experience

I recently spoke to Anne Robinson from the New Customer Administration Team. She assisted and walked me through my application process for a property. She was extremely polite and made me feel at ease. Very chatty and friendly and great communication. Everything explained, very easy to understand and went thorough everything with me, it was a great experience. Nothing was too much trouble. I waited all day for some one to come about my damp and mould problem I had an appointment between 8am and 12 noon but no body came I spoke to a very nice man who sorted the problem out for me and arranged another appointment for me he was very thorough and helpful nothing was too much trouble for him.

One year and counting...

We reported a potential roof leak causing damp/mold in our flat in Nov 22. After an initial visit, there was no further action despite numerous emails and phone calls. On the back of a formal complaint and escalation to the council, someone attended the flat and carried out an anti-fungal clean and repaint 4 months after the initial report. We were no further to establishing the cause of the water ingress. Despite a complaint response that detailed further investigation works nothing further happened. When the cold weather has come back round we have the same issue. Reported again on 13th November and nothing further heard. Follow up phone call made on 4th December and appointment arranged the following week. Time was taken off work to be in for the appointment but no-one turned up, which was not surprising given previous experience. When speaking to the repair team we are given different information by each person and there is continuous blame passing to contractors with no accountability on their own repair team and no management taking control of the issue.

Been waiting two months for bathroom and hallway repairs.List was made by a Surveyor. Called many times. Always say we'll call back but never do. Filled out a complaint form but no confirmation it was received. Absolutely no communication from them. Website is useless. Dependant on one phone number. I've had no problem with small job repairs but this one is major and after the Surveyor came I thought things would flow, sadly not.

I found Julia, Christobel and her team excellent to work with. They came with fair valuations and great advice, and were extremely proactive pushing through all parties through the whole process. I would recommend working with an experienced boutique firm like them rather than a high street chain, any day of the week.
