GooglePrompt communication and the point of contact when asking for proof of standing order setup for the rent payments. Diverts any contact to incompetent landlord when you have trouble getting the landlord to take care of things in a timely manner.
Hi Amir, We were surprised to see your review as you personally praised our lettings manager, Ledian, and thanked him for his help in liaising with your landlord during your tenancy. However, we are sorry that you have had a bad experience but as previously and repeatedly discussed, through email, phone calls and meetings, Winkworth did not manage the property and as such all we were only allowed to do was pass your concerns to the landlord. The manner and speed of the landlords response is completely out of our control. Reviews are essential to our business and ideally they should reflect your experience with us as agents and not that of your landlord, in light of this we would be grateful if you would reconsider your review or give us a call to discuss further. GoogleAfter renting a property off them for a year they have been very unhelpful, unorganised and we had a huge bill when leaving our property which we are still waiting to get resolved If you can avoid renting a property from them I would!!!

GoogleTenants beware they will charge you fees for doing absolutely nothing quite happily. Luckily a lot of these fees are being banned by the government, they might struggle making money after this I imagine, might have to actually provide a service
Thank you for taking the time to discuss the matter over the phone, I now understand that you were unhappy with the referencing fees that we charged you four years ago when you moved in to the property. These fees are amongst the lowest in the area and were made clear to you both verbally and in writing prior to the tenancy commencing, so a little surprised as to why you raise your concerns at this late stage. You also mention the renewal fee, this too was clear prior to the commencement of your tenancy and on checking our files I note that your renewal negations and paperwork were more protracted than usual contrary to your suggestion. In addition, you raise a concern about the cost of the check-out report, this report is conducted by an independent professional at the commencement and the end of the tenancy, the Landlord pays the inventory and check in cost and the tenant pays the checkout costs- we do not charge a fee for arranging this nor do we make a commission on this. Once again, the process was clearly explained to you at the beginning of the tenancy and is an important component of the tenancy agreement which you signed and is this process is to protect both parties, this then allowed the return of your deposit from any unfair deductions. We do appreciate feedback and we also know that sometimes there will be little we can do to keep everyone happy. We genuinely wish you well in your new home. Warmest Regards, Mil Burton
