Leeds Uncle - Constant issues with the General Manager. He’s rude, arrogant, patronising and has zero interpersonal skills. His team are clearly not trained and have no idea about anything because I was constantly given different information or no information…“I’ll find out for you” is their slogan. I wasn’t told about pretty much anything including the water situation, that none of the facilities were open until next year, how to enter my building, how to move in…everything! Even the signs around the building are wrong. The buttons in the lift don’t match the floor signs. It’s not worth £500 a month never mind £1210. I left the flat within their 2 week “try before you rent” policy and because it took them so long to end my contract that they started sending me threatening emails saying I’ll still have to pay rent even though I’ve left. Also, had a leaking toilet that they couldn’t fix and charged me a ridiculous amount for a faulty induction hob that I was blamed for.The GM 100% needs firing and he’s refused to give me his manager’s details which is very convenient. Like he said to me “I have the final say”. Wouldn’t waste your sanity on Leeds Uncle.

As well as this, we have a digital version of the HUG easily available to all residents via QR codes in their apartments, and this has videos showing you exactly how to use everything from your hot water controls to your oven.We get lots of great feedback on this from our residents who choose to engage with it - it really does make life easier!And while you choose to criticise our wonderful building team, we think the other reviews left by our customers speak for themselves. Recently moved in, and the experience is quite miserable.TLDR: 1. Resident/Leasing team is very unprofessional/unfriendly/arrogant.2. Terrible move-in experience.3. Intrusive engineering team.4. Quality of flat is decent (Probably the only up side, at least for now).Now let's start with the resident team shall we? My goodness the way they talk made me feels like they are the tenant instead of me. Before I was even moving in, every time I gave them a call to discuss about my upcoming contract in terms of how the payment and move-in process works, I can literally felt their impatience and arrogance in the way they spoke, and their team manager is even worse. It surely didn't make me feel like they care about the company or something, they just simply want to get their job done. If you are curious how unfriendly they are, simply give uncle deptford a call, and you will see what I mean.In short, I felt like the current resident team at Uncle Deptford are from some third party agencies instead of a direct Uncle employees, hence I can felt they don't really care about company and the resident experience at all, I might be wrong but at least it made me feel that way which is warning sign already.I had been living in London for more than 7 years now, and Uncle Deptford had given me probably the worst move-in experience I ever had since. I'm not going into too much details in this matter since this might varies between each individual resident.Let's close it up with with how their team mange maintenance and engineering works.In general the team are responsible for giving notices when there are situations about inspections or maintenance works. And I had noticed some rare occasions where engineer will enter straight into our flat (they had the backup key access) without us receiving any notices at all! Although this issue is not happening all the time otherwise it would be a criminal, but I found it annoying enough to be mentioned here for people to be aware of.Now it's been couples weeks since my family had moved in, there are so many downsides about Uncle Depford right now. Probably the only good thing I can talk about is the quality of their apartment flat, design is modern and clean, facilities is well-rounded where you got dishwasher, internet, fridge, water everything setup already which is quite convenient. However, the price is not cheap either, for this amount of money you paid, this is what you would be expecting in London, so this is nothing special about them.Overall, would at least still give it a 2 stars for now, since the quality of this building is still top notch, this review may change in the future if they somehow manage to find a better resident team and manager, but for now definitely would NOT recommend.

I lived at this property for a year, and the experience was far from satisfactory. In June, my housemate and I were locked out of our house on a Saturday night due to a lock failure. We had no choice but to sleep on the floor outside our house. The next day, we had to pay £300 for a locksmith to fix the issue, as it was clearly a building fault.Southall promised to reimburse us for the locksmith cost, but now, 4 months later, we are still waiting. Despite multiple emails and follow-ups, there has been no response or refund. This level of customer service is extremely disappointing and unacceptable. I would not recommend living here if you're looking for prompt communication or support from management.

Living here has been a unique experience! I lived at UNCLE Manchester for a year and when I returned the keys to the flat recently, my heart stopped. I have met wonderful people here. Andrew is really the best, he is always available, always ready to help and always greets you with a big smile on his face. He and the UNCLE guys are really special people, ready to solve and fix any technical problem you might have in the flat, essential for someone like me who can barely change a lightbulb ;) The flat is stunning, super central, and within walking distance from both Universities, the Northern Quarter, Manchester Oxford Road Station, and Picadilly Station. Me and my wife stayed at Uncle Wembley for 6 months. We booked the apartment online from a video given by JLL. The apartment was professionally cleaned and looked the same as in the video. The apartments are new and very good, the best I ever lived. Everything in the Uncle premises are new, shiny and clean. There is extreme safety in the premises and you need a key to go everywhere.The staff were brilliant. Mantas, Nicole and the two managers Jamie and Kelly. Special thanks to Kelly for her help in the last day of tenancy. We organized the cleaning ourselves and my wife forget her wedding ring and her engagement diamond ring. We were already in our way to traveling to Scotland when she realized it and it was 11pm. We quickly wrote to Kelly, who immediately replied and in the next morning, she had the rings safe before 9am.

My husband, our chihuahua and I lived for almost two years at Uncle E&C and we absolutely loved it! We had a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom flat on the 18 floor with a view on north east London. Around the corner we still can see The London Eye and Westminster. Right in front of us we have a beautiful view on St Paul’s Cathedral and great London city views. You can walk easily in 15 minutes to the London Eye, which is really great! We could watch the sunrise and the reflection of the sunset from the balcony every day. We had family and friends coming over and they were all excited about the apartment, amenities and the astonishing views. The flat is beautiful, very new, clean and was fitted out with top-of-the-line appliances and stylish colours and made day-to-day living a true pleasure. We also enjoyed the sky lounge space on the 45th floor - my husband especially as he is often working from home, and even we had friends and family coming over. The gym is also very nice. And I used a reserved parking spot in the garage underneath the building for my Mercedes convertible. All of the staff at the reception desk are amazing and it was a pleasure to come back home and see Farid or Paul smile and ask how our day was. The building management team is also terrific, especially Kevin who is always so kind and helpful! The staff is very responsive, dedicated, and friendly. There's also a park, supermarket and great playground just outside. We moved out because his employer has relocated my husband to the US, but we will surely miss London and Uncle with its amazing views and the nice feeling of being at home.

I lived here for a year and really enjoyed it. I also read every review possible beforehand and am here to give an honest opinion to help others make an informed decision. Pros: -The on-site management team are amazing and they sort everything out. My electric box stopped working on a Saturday night and they still came to fix it. All my post was signed for and securely stored in the post room, so even if I worked a full week in the office I could just pick everything up on Saturday morning. Communal areas/gym are spotless. I could not speak more highly of the team, especially Duncan, Paul, and Ruth. - The interiors are great, and the furniture is good quality. I wish I could take the mattress to my next flat because I will miss it so much. Compared to other co-living places I visited, this building had by far the best interior and use of space. There is a LOT of storage space, so I never felt squished. The size of the rooms also means a little heating goes a long way. I used the gym on cold/rainy days and the equipment was excellent. - The surrounding area is vibrant and wonderful. In the summer there is a lot of activity in the park. It's a beautiful, friendly place to read a book or have a picnic, or take a walk on your lunch break. Greenery surrounds the building and I was never bothered by traffic noise. I loved opening all my windows in the summer and feeling like I was outside whilst being comfortable on my bed. - There are multiple locked doors to get through, and security cameras on every corner so I felt really safe, even after dark (it's a very safe area anyway).- It's close to multiple useful bus stops, an overground station, and an underground station all within 10mins walk. - The building organises a lot of events, and though I didn't make use of these it was nice to know they were available and that I had a community I could be part of. Communication from the building (fire detector inspections, etc.) was always clear and given well ahead of time. Cons: - The washing machines are expensive. I initially freaked out at having to pay 6.50 per cycle, but later came to understand that this was in fact cheaper than some laundromats, which made me feel better. They work, and there's one on every floor so once I got used to it it did not bother me so much.- A lot of reviews wrote about the noise. For me, the experience really depends on your next-door neighbour. For the most part I found that I could not hear people upstairs or downstairs, but I could hear next door if they were shouting. That said, a friendly conversation about noise levels goes a long way.All in all I had one of the best years of my life living here and getting to know the area, which I will greatly miss.

Lovely staff at Elephant and Castle.It's great to see Farid, Paul, Jedi, Elena, Newton, Welton and Kevin's familiar faces every day as come and go and they make this building more than just a rented accommodation.Paul and Farid at the concierge built up a tremendous amount of knowledge about the affairs of the building as they have been here since the beginning, they always know what the best action is whatever situation we need to deal with. Jedi is also great, we had a pleasure to get to know her over time and glad to see her here more frequently.I can't tell you how sad we were to see Kevin leave and then happy we were to see him to come back, he is one of the most amazing, humble and hard working person I know.Also great to see Elena in the mornings keeping our common areas clean and tidy. She is always very friendly with us and always pets our dog when he approaches her with joy and excitement.Shushu (our dog) is happy to meet Newton (our caretaker) again, even if only on weekends, when we meet him on our morning walks and always had a friendly exchange.We left once after living here for two years than we had to move again and it was no question that we want to move back here. Now we have been back for over a year and a half and we noticed that since we moved back, we can see that some of the time there are temporary people from agencies, often just stepping in for one day or night, who often aren't able to help with the things that for the permanent stuff it's a breeze and the experience is not quite the same.We are very sad Jam is no longer here, she was the best. I wish she stayed, she just brought in a great energy and her consistent focus on keeping the tenants satisfied was exceptional.As a tenant, it makes a big difference to have a stable concierge and maintenance team, this makes the building a home for us.

Had the best experience at Uncle (Manchester)!! Amazing location. The facilities inside the building such as co working space, gym, art studio, yoga room are great. The apartments can be a bit small but they are well equipped and super clean. If anything breaks or you need any assistance, the staff is amazing and the problem is resolved quickly. No worries in terms of parcels and deliveries, the staff will take it for you during work hours and will store it safely.Uncle is pet friendly, which during research of locations to live that were pet friendly, some said they were except when we called them they said they actually weren’t. So Uncle was definitely a huge plus on that. I think what made a huge difference was the staff, everyone super friendly, super welcoming, willing to help. Big thanks to Andrew for managing so well, always super friendly, super helpful, can’t say enough really. Big hug and kiss to everyone from the staff! It’s home away from home.It has amazing facilities ranging from the appliances in the room to a well equipped gym with a range of equipments you can use for an effective workout. I've been an Uncle Resident for the past year and I have nothing but compliments for the Building and the Uncle Wembley Team. Rent is affordable and the electricity and heating bill is surprisingly low because the fittings and lights are extremely energy efficient! It's located conveniently next to two tube stations which gives you great routes to take regardless of your destination. Their gym is well equipped and open 24/7 which is so convenient and ideal for residents. They do offer parking as well which is affordable and safe which isn't common in London! The concierge and reception is probably the best part of the building! They take care of all the packages and send an email as well when they receive something. They're super accommodating and even helped me surprise my flatmate for his birthday! The team is great and super helpful hence why we've decided to renew our contract! We hope to stay here for a while!

I been renting at UNCLE wembley for past 1 year and I had only good experiences.UNCLE wembley is located in the High street and under 5 minutes walk from the tube station, a huge park and a school.They have a set of cheerful and very helpful concierge team who manages the reception and takes in resident's deliveries. The residents are notified by email when their is a delivery so no need to worry about missing deliveries when you are not around.The management team goes above and beyond to resolve any complaints. I had few issues with kitchen cabinets and they where resolved on the next day itself. The team is very responsive and prompt to respond to emails which is a great relief because I know if something goes wrong the team is their for support.The flat is well build and maintained and it is worth for the rent they ask for. One main point to note is the utility bill which is surprisingly less (my heating bill per month was just 70 GBP and electric around 80 GBP). There is a gym and resident lounge and roof top which is again well maintained and clean.I highly recommend UNCLE wembley for renting because they really live up to their tag line "Renting as it should be".

I recently spent 6 months staying at Uncle Wembley and I must say it was a fantastic experience. The staff were always friendly, helpful and accommodating during my stay, and I really appreciated their attention to detail.The amenities and facilities at Uncle Wembley were top-notch, and I found everything I needed to be comfortable and relaxed during my stay. The location was also great, with easy access to nearby shops, restaurants and other attractions.The highlight of my stay, however, was definitely the amazing view from Uncle Wembley. It was truly breathtaking, and I often found myself spending hours just staring out the window and taking in the incredible scenery.Overall, I highly recommend Uncle Wembley to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable long-term stay. The staff, facilities and location are all excellent, and the view is simply unbeatable. Five stars!
