If this is how he is on the phone, from an initial phone call, be grateful he didn’t do business with you.

GoogleAimee was an absolute machine getting my offer accepted, she told me exactly what I needed to do and did everything she could on the landlord side to secure the flat for me. I couldn't have secured my place without her! The experience after getting the offer accepted was absolutely stellar as well considering the quick turnaround that was needed. Can't fault the service here, recommend Truepenny's highly!

GoogleI would caution against going with TruePenny’s. We experienced poor service from start to finish, a lack of compassion and very slow action. We moved in with several faults; broken chairs, fridge did not hold temperature, temperamental oven, unhinged toilet. The blinds snapped off the main living room and was not fixed for our entire tenancy. Despite multiple correspondence on the fridge, this was not escalated and I spent lots of additional money as produce went off - no one cared. All in all, avoid! There were no rent reductions in spite of the numerous issues. Really awful and not the level of service you would expect for the rent.

GoogleI had a great experience renting with Truepenny’s Dulwich, and I particularly want to highlight Chris and his team. From day one, they were responsive and professional. At the start of the tenancy, there were several issues to address, but these were resolved quickly and to a high standard. Whenever a problem arose, Chris took ownership and handled it promptly. I also want to acknowledge the several occasions Chris arranged for help maintaining the garden, this was incredibly helpful. The contractors he assigned were always friendly, skilled, and respectful of my home. The checkout process was also seamless. I highly recommend Chris and Truepenny’s if you're looking for a stress-free rental experience.

GoogleI'm glad that we chose Truepenny's to sell our home in East Dulwich. It was a difficult decision to sell after living here for 22 years, but the understanding, patience and support shown by Connor and Alex was really appreciated, in what was an emotional time for us. Wallace helped through the exchange and completion, , and he was always on hand and extremely understanding. The helpful, professional and empathetic style of them all, together their personable manner made such a difference to the whole experience and I really felt they cared about what we were going through.

GoogleDo not use these guys to manage your property as you will end up doing it all yourself and pay them for the privilege. They have been looking after our property and tenants for six months now and every month I have to pester them to pester the tenant for the rent. Once the rent finally arrives I then have to pester them to get a monthly statement off them. The only way you will get anywhere with them is by posting a poor review and then you will get some service until you remove that review (for which I was offered a financial incentive - no wonder on the face of it their reviews look good) and then the service will return to the normal poor service

GoogleI’m so glad I chose True Penny’s (East Dulwich) for the sale my development project. From the outset, Connor’s approach stood out for being knowledgeable and genuinely informative. Our sales agent was Kyley, who was fantastic. She took time to visit the property through the development stage to fully understand our specification and ensured she had the right buyers lined up. We sold within the first 24 hours of going on the market. She also took great care of both us and the buyers, especially while navigating some difficult hurdles along the way. The sales progression team were equally supportive, particularly with the legal process. I couldn’t recommend them more highly and will definitely be working with them again on future projects!

Called their Beckenham branch on the 12th Nov to enquire about a rental property that had just come on the market and was told by a lady there that a message would be passed on to lettings. Nobody ever got back to me. Chased it up on the 13th and was told by a lady there (same lady?) “we only have one lettings negotiator covering Beckenham and Bromley. Rest assured you will get a chance to view the property”. Again, nobody ever got back to me. Today (19th) I see that the property has now been let! So thanks to their incompetency I’ve now missed out on a potential tenancy. Utter shambles and I’m going to blacklist this agent if this is the level of service afforded to prospective tenants. **Update** I have been nagged to provide further information by Trustpilot. Not much more to add except that I missed out on a tenancy because of Truepenny's failings. If I make an enquiry re. a rental property that's just come on the market then I expect somebody to have the courtesy to get back to me...

GoogleI definitely recommend working with Albert Marques and the Truepenny's team in East Dulwich if you're looking for a flat in the area. Twice now Albert has found us the perfect flat - the first we lived in for 5 years before moving abroad. This month, Albert has come through again - helping us secure the ideal home while we're overseas. He's made the whole process seamless once again, and my husband I have appreciated his honesty and willingness to go the extra mile. Where 3 other agents in the area didn't bother to even respond to our inquiries, Albert went out of his way to call us in the US to discuss our options and fill in all of the local details and information. And we can't wait to move back to London - Albert and Truepenny's have managed to take all of the stress out of our international relocation!
