I’m waiting for this nightmare with Stowbrothers to end… it’s been 3 months post sale the house of our house, we have no chain, and with still have no update. The sales progress team is unresponsive, have zero urgency, telling me the delay is from my buyers solicitors searching the wrong address on one of their searches…this has been the response for the last month (when they reply) costing me £2.5k every month with the house untenanted. Pick up your game, give me a proper update and actually chase this settlement along.

Letting our property through Stow Brothers was very easy. They managed to get a tenant in within 24 hours. They were very efficient and made sure we knew what was required at all times. In particular we had great great help from both Sotiria Chalatsi and Ryan Ndala but the whole team was very helpful.

GoogleI don't even know how we can begin to thank Eva, Lachlan and the team over at Stow Brothers. We were so lucky to have landed a flat with them as the agent. We were first time buyers so naturally didn't know much about the process, and there were a lot of issues from our solicitor which caused huge stress. Due to the trust we had in Eva and the team, we were able to work through it with their support and guidance, and genuinely felt they had our best interests at heart the whole time (despite them working for the vendors and not us). I genuinely don't think the sale would have gone through if it had been any other agent involved. Any flat you may be viewing with them running the selling process is a massive bonus. If we were to ever sell, we wouldn't even consider any other agent. HUGE thank you to the whole team over at Stow Brothers!

GoogleStow Bros Hackney is a fantastic, customer-focused team led by the wonderful Eva. Their fees are competitive and the conclusion of my flat sale was excellent. They offered competitive fees and delivered an excellent outcome. Everything went through very smoothly: from awesome photos and listing, setting a rational list price, to lining up plenty of potential buyers, taking a sensible approach to offers, and being very reasonable with communications throughout. Hopefully I won't need you again soon (!) but would definitely recommend to anyone looking to buy or sell in Hackney.

They purposefully way undervalue properties to generate interest and then expect tenants to bid way over the asking price just to secure the property. We viewed a property recently valued at £1695 pcm that went for £2000 pcm. It was clearly worth more than the amount marketed and yet Stow Brothers decided to be be greedy and undervalue the property in order to force potential tenants to over offer. The agent viewing one property got the key jammed in the door meaning half of prospective viewers (for the one and only available viewing day) could not see the property. Stow Brothers promised to rearrange viewings to those who were unable to see the property but ended up taking an offer of 2kpcm from one of the lucky few to view it! They claim they do not prefer tenants who offer more for the property but this is blatantly untrue. Do not be fooled by the glossy website and photos, many of the properties are not what you would expect. Viewings were purposefully arranged to cram in as many prospective tenants as possible as to create a false sense of demand and panic amongst bidders. Impossible to contact them directly, only being referred to fill in their online forms which inevitably are rarely replied to. Correspondence with tenants is slow after making offers, we were told 'the landlord is away on holiday or is considering his options etc.' when we were told to make final bids 3 days ago. Properties up for sale and let at the same time (BEWARE). This was not communicated to us at the time and was only something we found out later by googling the property.
