GoogleI had a very bad experience with this agency, I pay the holding deposit to rent a property, and the property was rented by others. And until now I didn't get the holding deposit back. The agent, try to apologize showing me other property that I really disliked. They said the fault was from the landlord, but n reality I lost the property and the money.NegativeProfessionalism

GoogleI will never use Townends again. I will never recommend Townends to anyone. Their sales strategy, misinformation and poor communication caused enormous stress and frustration. Avoid.

GoogleI instructed Townends in December, having given the incumbent agent 2 months to rent my flat, without success. I do have previous experience with Townends and knew they would be on the ball with arranging viewings. More importantly, they gave me valuable advice and feedback, which led to a successful letting in a very difficult market and difficult time of year. Thanks!

GoogleProbably the worst service I have ever had from an Estate Agency. Firstly unable to confirm agents fees 'stating I could pay what I wanted' then called me 15 minutes before an inspection at 6:30pm to cancel 'as the property was actually let', when I had travelled from central London. Honestly would advise to go somewhere else!!! Useless ... don't use ...
