GoogleEditing review after a great pre-rent experience, but a shocking after rent experience. Things we agreed with the landlord through Townends (removal of furniture, new carpets) were not passed along meaning we and the landlords signed on different terms... not great. Townends did end up making it right with the landlord and helped to arrange for the carpets to be put in, but it was a stressful few weeks for us in what would have already been a busy time and Townends caused a lot of that.

GoogleExcellent service from David and Victoria. Despite their high workloads, they are always very polite, professional, organized and on-the-ball. I've been with a few other agencies in the past and Townends has a very good team as everyone I've spoken to have been excellent. I highly recommend them.

GoogleI bought my first flat through Townends some 15 years ago and since then have always used them with the exception of 2 occasions which were both unsatisfactory so I returned to Townends. I have always found them to be reliable in finding me lovely tenants, supportive on the one occasion I had a problem with a tenant and competitive in price. I have a small portfolio but I always use Townends for their friendly, professional, reliable service.
