We had an excellent stay at Edinburgh. Everything was so perfect and Altido made our stay a memorable one. The apartment was beautifully decorated and spotless , we enjoyed every moment of our stay . The location is just amazing with a spectacular view. The building is beside the Royal Mile , which will give you additional bonus and one can get everything with in a stone-through distance. Location is excellent and room with touch of class. Staff online was responsive but room wasn't properly supplied. I had to request for toilet papers which was delivered personally, thank you, but no paper towels nor towelettes. We're not sure if there are bed bugs but we both left with bites. High tech door opener was inconvenient.

We had a wonderful experience in Edinburgh. Our Airbnb was beautiful. Altido made it so easy to check in and out. Also offered great suggestions for restaurants in the area. The location was perfect. Lots to do and see all within walking distance. Will definitely come back.

The place was clean and perforce it was close to the station which connects to all the attractions. The Host was very gracious and helped carry the bags too. We had an amazing time in London.. the provide a grocery option that worked out perfectly. It’s an easy walk to buckingham palace and Victoria metro. We plan to be back and mostly will pick the same place if available

Googlei really enjoyed my stay. I was in London on a business trip and really felt this was one of the best spaces I could’ve chosen. Apartment was super clean, beautiful bedroom with big comfy bed, great little kitchen and a beautiful terrace for morning coffee or an evening drink. Also the service is wonderful. There’s someone to Greet u upon your arrival and there’s always a friendly and helpful person to assist you with whatever u need. And really understanding of a travelers needs. Thank u for a the beautiful stay.

The room is very nice, spacious. Staff were very helpful as our flight was delayed and they waited for us at the apartment until late in the evening. Location is great as it’s walking distance to everywhere and 10/15 minute train to the canals. Would recommended the apartment to anyone I know going to Milan and if I’m ever back I would stay here again.

We have stayed at the same apartment three times over the past year. It's very convenient in the centre of Edinburgh. This time it was a bit chilly as the heating went off and could have done with an extra blanket on the bed. The instructions for the cooker and heating were not in the flat ,unlike last time. We contacted Altido and received them immediately by email. The cooker needs a bit more info than switch on and turn the knob. Overall we love this apartment and highly recommend it.

The 2 bedroom apartment was lovely. It was clean and well equipped. The hosts provided a welcome pack of tea, coffee, biscuits and milk satchets for 4 people. Two drawbacks were :- 1. picking up keys from a shop that was at least a 10 minute walk away. We have never known an Airbnb provide access this way, so used to a digi lock at the apartment. Also we needed to then return the keys when we left 2. The front door lock needs securing better. It took some time to get into the apartment as the key needed to be manipulated to open the door.

TrustpilotGood location, but not a repeat stay
I stayed for 5 days with my sister over the US Thanksgiving holiday. The location is excellent, very close to the District and Picadilly Lines and the overground. The check in was easy with the video they share but despite stating you get a second set of keys, you don't. When I asked about it they said it's just for the video. Seems odd and deceptive to make a check in video that includes things you won't actually get. The bed was clean, and kitchen has plates and other things for cooking, and the clothes washer was nice to have. Unfortunately, the bathroom floor had hair in several locations, and the carpet in the bedroom had fuzzies throughout so it doesn't seem the floors were actually cleaned before we arrived. The walls are also dirty. Because of these things we used the space and kitchen much less not knowing how clean everything actually was. While the people responded quickly to messages, there was also an issue with the thermostat not working, and so it was cold. They have two space heaters on the closet that we pulled out and used which helped a lot, but I would hate to have stayed when the temps dropped below 20F and stayed cold.

The staff is rarely willing to help with any inconveniences and when they do, they are slow. They set strict rules that tenants have to follow but often do not stick to their part of rules.

Googleapartment located in kennington, a quiet and convenient neighborhood ten minutes from central London. Metro stop 6 minutes walk, Tesco superstore 4 minutes walk. Two pubs near the house. Excellent welcome from Ines, precise, smiling, kind and friendly. Comfortable apartment for two but the bedroom is really very small and has no wardrobe, quiet, the bed is super comfortable. Kitchen without linen and coffee maker but there is everything for cooking. Excellent cleaning in the bathroom but it could be done better in the rest of the house, I had to clean under the bed (there was a lot of dust) and in my opinion the carpet could be eliminated or at least cleaned better (but I don't mind, I'm allergic to dust, in fact I coughed all week) There is no socket adapter, it would be nice to let guests find it An apartment that I would take back if I were to return to London!!!

We appreciated the flexibility of booking in advance without payment and given 30 days prior to reservation to make final payment. Although there was a glitch with clarifying final payment with converting to US dollars, it was addressed quickly & efficiently.The unit, itself was quite comfortable & had a spectacular view of the Edinburgh Castle (literally next door).However the 4 flights of stairs was a suprise! Luckily we were in decent shape to carry luggage up & down. It is also conveniently located, which was quite helpful!
