GoogleAn Estate Agent whose practices are demonstrably not only proper, but also with the 'human touch' element, which is a rarity! This in the main is down to a particular member of their Staff, Rebecca, who was an absolute star during the whole process, from start to finish. From the outset, this lovely young lady spotted the crucial needs of a slightly complex situation, and did not give up, but rather persistently worked so hard and non-stop, until the best outcome was reached. We are now happily settled in our new rental, thanks to her, and her good and kind Colleagues, including Lauren. Well done Squires for being different and making such a difference to real people's lives! I will be recommending your services to all and sundry. To all renters, no matter what, stay away from this real estate agent!
We are very sorry you had this experience. The landlord was very much aware and was the driving force behind the deposit deductions. We don't make these decisions ourselves, it isn't our money. You have failed to mention however, that you tried to claim back your full deposit and the landlord won £410 due to lots of issues within the property. So whilst the landlord may have tried to claim too much, you also didn't maintain the flat as it should be, nor did you take any responsibility for this. This was absolutely not a scam, the deposit system works in a fair way and the fact that the landlord didn't win all shows this, but equally shows that there were some fair claims which were denied. But as mentioned, the deductions are created by the client not the Agent and it's a shame you feel it necessary to give a one star review.

GoogleI sold my flat through this agents at the end of last year. I live abroad so it was a bit more difficult but I found Avi and Levinia absolutely brilliant! They organised cleaning, repairs etc, chased solicitors and were always available to talk. I would highly recommend them!

GoogleAvoid! Honestly, just be aware of hidden fees. Which are plenty of. I left the property over 2 months ago. Still did not get my deposit back as they fail to submit it deposit scheme. I called and discussed with Lauren every week. Still nothing happened.
Thanks for your review. I'm sorry you feel this way but we 100% did protect the deposit with the DPS. This is now in dispute because of damages which you just don't agree with. We tried to explain this to you on a number of occasions in the office and on email. There are no hidden fees, the landlord only wishes to charge for damages to the flat.

I am sorry to see that you are unsatisfied with the service provided. Having spoke with you, I am still unclear as to what the issue is. The first time you indicated you were not happy was at the point of my colleague asking who you wish to register the deposit with, and whether you want to get a gas safety certificate. I would like to point out that both of these are legal requirements for landlords and we were just trying to ensure you were compliant. You took issue with this, but didn’t not explain why this was a problem. As to broken promises, again, I feel this is inaccurate. You claim we agreed a monthly payment of our fee, however this was never discussed, and it states clearly on the terms of business you signed that the fee on let only is payable in advance. We have been transparent and legally compliant from day 1, and do believe this review to be both untrue, inaccurate and unnecessary. We have found you a great tenant despite the delays which came from your side. We will not be dealing with a landlord who does not wish to be legally compliant again, we are as almost all of our reviews show a professional company providing great service.

They cancelled both our appointments - one because the room we even did not supposed to view was sold, the other time after coming to the agency they informed that we can not view because they do not have keys. Horrible service. They are telling that gonna call you back and that is never happening. Waisting our time. EVERY AGENCY IS BETTER THAN THIS ONE.
