We used Sargeants to rent out our property while we were overseas and were very impressed with the professional service and peace of mind they provided that it was being so well managed so when we decided to sell we used Sargeants. The sales team were very professional and provided excellent service, were always prompt and responsive and did a great job of keeping us updated throughout the process. Our sale was not without its share of unexpected complications and Hayley and the team navigated the challenges smoothly and quickly to keep the sale (and our purchase) on track I would highly recommend the friendly and professional team at Sargeants.

Excellent experience buying a property with Sargeants. I dealt with Hayley Knowles and she was very professional, knowledgeable and most important eager to help the buyer and make sure all questions got answered. Hayley was super responsive and never had to be chased for anything helping us massively to finalise the transaction within the timeframe we had initially set. After having dealt with so many estate agents during the process of buying a house, I can clearly say that she was the best and I can highly recommend.

GoogleWe have been renting our home through this agency for over three years. Recently, our boiler broke down, leaving us without heating and hot water, and we are now entering the fourth day with the issue still unresolved. The temperature inside the house dropped to around 8.8°C today. We have two young children, which made the situation extremely difficult. Despite reporting the issue immediately and following up multiple times by phone and email, the repair has still not been resolved. We were advised to purchase electric heaters ourselves as a temporary solution, with no alternative arrangements or compensation offered. The lack of urgency and poor communication during what should have been treated as an emergency repair has caused significant stress. I would expect much better handling of essential repairs, especially in a family home.

GoogleWe came across Sargeants as buyers where we met Patricia. Patricia was attentative with our needs when the property we wanted was slightly above our max budget. She was able to help negotiate a deal with the sellers and enabled a seemless transaction. We had the added issue of viewing a property just after covid lockdown, again Patricia was really good in ensuring all measures were met and assisting us in viewing the property on more than one occasion.

GoogleI was interested to buy a property , I made an offer and I was challenged by the agent if I was able to get a mortgage , I was surprised . This morning I spoke to Dean Sargent one of the partners , I was told it's a normal procedure , when I tried to explain that I was never challenged before and I have another 2 properties , his answer was ' GOOD FOR YOU' Very unprofessional to any levels considering he's one of the partners .NegativeProfessionalism

As I explained to you when taking the offer we request proof of funds from everyone who makes an bid through us and you were no exception. Our clients appreciate us structuring sales in the right way and as a result our fall through rates are among the lowest in the industry. The benefit to you would be your offer is submitted in the best light possible. It's not fair for us to comment on other agencies procedures but our agency will not be changing our approach. GoogleMoving house is a very stressful thing. Sargeants Estate agents and especially Patricia have worked very had to make our sale as stress free as possible. When problems have arisen Patricia worked very hard to sort them out and to keep us calm and most importantly, informed as to what was happening . And keeping the sale moving forward. Our sale was in a very long chain so we worked with other agents and this really proved to us that Sargeants are a cut about the usual agent. Highly recommended.
