An excellent team to let & manage your rental property

We've recently placed our rental property with RSK to be both let & managed by them. Throughout the process we have found everyone we've dealt with, from Macaela and Bailey in lettings to Daisy & her team in property management to be professional, approachable, understanding, efficient & patient. The team in property management have been particularly helpful in dealing with a number of issues that have arisen for the new tenants since they moved in, especially Jaye who has proven to be very organised & effective in her role. If you make a request for help with an issue at the property, whether tenant or landlord, you can be certain that Jaye will get it resolved in the most constructive & advantageous manner possible for both parties. She's a real asset to RSK & its clients.

Beware of this company

Beware of this company. Estate agents can be slippery but the one I worked with was caught in multiple lies through the process. Additionally, when I sent over the holding deposit, I got an passive aggressive email stating I hadn't sent it so the agent would continue with viewings. I had to call, only to find out he just hadn't checked before emailing. The entire process was stressful. The house was advertised as having a garden, when I arrived they didn't have the key. I asked for pictures or a video for days after but estate agent largely ignored me and was simply pushy for an offer. These are just a couple examples, genuinely there are so many more. Seriously was the worst experience.

I have used RSK for both lettings and property management now for over 25 years. Both sets of teams are professional, approachable and helpful. They are open to different ways of approaching things. Daisy and I have have a great working relationship and she is always available. I have worked with Micaela and Altin on the lettings side and both are excellent in finding me suitable tenants. When things go wrong, the whole team pulls together to rectify issues as well as support me with difficult tenants in a fair and open manner.

I’ve been searching for a rental property with Matthew for some time, and while the process hasn’t yielded results yet, I genuinely appreciate his warmth, professionalism, and consistent communication. He regularly checks in with updates, which shows a real commitment to helping us find the right property. Although the properties shown so far haven’t quite aligned with our preferences, I do feel he is genuinely trying to understand our needs and get us there. With some improvement in matching clients to suitable properties, I think the service could be excellent. The service is in general is good but also flawed when we received unstamped letters encouraging us to sell our house even though we had already listed. Our agent Selina tried her best to keep us informed about the chain of settlements and the impact to our sale. We were only interested in our sale so did not really care on what was the problem with the other chains. Selina was at all times courteous and tried her best to keep us informed but we often felt that this sales process in the UK is archaic and not conducive to move often when you need clarity on your position and exchange date.

Zero stars if I could put that We’ve had a terrible experience with RSK, not just once, but twice. When we first bought our flat through them, they were impossible to reach and never picked up the phone when we needed updates or support. They would finally answer emails but you always felt you were being a pain to them. Despite that, we (stupidly) decided to sell through them later on as we wanted to reuse a photo, and unfortunately, it was just as bad. They massively overvalued our property, ignored our concerns when we told them the price was unrealistic, and one week after we signed an exclusivity agreement, they told us to drop the price by 75k (which we had already told them it should be priced at & they knew we didn’t want to reduce so quickly) proving they just wanted our listing, not to give genuine advice. Communication was practically nonexistent throughout, and even after we mentioned we wanted to take the flat off the market with them, they didn’t bother to contact us or follow up. Surely if you’d thought you’d given a good service you would at least call when you’d heard this?! I didn’t have a point of contact and every time I called there was no one available to update me so I never spoke on the phone to anyone (surely what an estate agent should be good at). We thought the service was so bad so we removed our property from the market, waited until the agreement had ended & signed up to a new agent. They were so impressive & gave the complete opposite service to RSK! Would not recommend RSK to anyone, extremely unprofessional and uninterested once they’ve secured your signature
