GoogleHave been sent a commission invoice from PW (that i cant even open) stating they will charge the card they have on file. For what? They are sneaking and slow. What a poor excuse and shady again saying they cannot find my details in their system. Dodgy agency and never call back when there is an issue **update 4th August ** i would not believe the good reviews they are useless!! I have to keep chasing them for everything. The owner of PW keeps stating this is a fake review when i am one of the tenants... Crazyness!!

I am sorry that you appear to have received an errant communication from us, but I suspect that this is a spam email purporting to be from Propertyworld. The process you describe does not sound like any of our processes, we do not retain clients card details on file. We cannot find your name in our database, but naturally we would like to investigate this further, especially as it is alleged that a member of staff did not perform to the levels we would expect. Please contact me directly at richard@propertyworlduk.net so that we may resolve this issue.

GoogleWhat can I say about Property World? Well I can tell you that these guys have been writing FAKE positive reviews about themselves. I wouldn't believe a WORD of it. I'm looking into reporting these guys to financial services for all the bad business they've been doing with me (and apparently other people too from those I've talked to).
From the start it was an absolute nightmare. I thought they looked professional from the outside but I say that was all a front. As soon as I provided them with my details it seemed like professionalism went out the window.
They tried to bounce me off other people to get me to pay the most! They'd try to get an offer out of me and then speak to others and get back to me to get me to raise my price! Absolute RIP OFF. I don't see why you'd bother to rent through them when they're just going to make you pay more and more. I feel like I was just being used as a cash cow rather than actually being respected as a tenant. If you want an agency that cares only about money, then these are the guys to go for.
When I finally DID find a property through them (after they did a lot of haggling to get me to PAY MORE) I had to chase them up for everything. I was giving them my money and it seemed like they didn't care about providing any sort of service as soon as they had a hold of my cash.
The move in was chaos. After all the money I gave them, I thought at least I'd get a half decent service but I couldn't have been more wrong. Don't be fooled by the polish outside, these guys are just after your cash (and nothing else!).

Mr Goldberg, we have no record of you as a tenant. Nor do any of my team have any record of engaging with a Mr Goldberg. In your post you state you found a property with us which, in light of this, seems very strange to say the least. The lettings processes you describe are also completely inaccurate. This leads me to believe the experiences you describe are not genuine and this review is not from a customer of propertyworld. I would be delighted to discuss this with you however should this not be the case. Mr R Crowley, Director.

GoogleFirst off, I urge you to read the negatives over the postive reviews as those are simply made up waffle, and without a doubt they'll respond to this review negating the validity to of it. :-(
Years after dealing with PropertyWorld my family are still reeling financially and psychologically from our service with the two brothers. The negligence to properly vet tenants, belligerence to ignore us as the landlord and arrogance to pass the buck to someone else when they didn't want to speak to or deal with us. It took us eight months to finally evict the tenants who hadn't paid rent. We were also accomplice to illegal migrants and human trafficking with different "guests" staying every night. We had circa 12+ tenants lodging in our 3 bedroom flat daily night and day. Meanwhile PropertyWorld assumed no responsibility almost laughed at our misfortune, it was at a great financial cost in legal fees, bailiffs and to clean-up the damage to our property. Our insurance was as fruitless as these buffoons.
These money grabbing thieves are that which fit perfectly into the stereotype that all estate agents as false-faced-spineless incompetent money grabbing hot-shots.
*Edit to PropertyWorlds response*
Laundry session is here: For those here for a genuine and honest review of these corrupt estate agents please, view the excuse making and "first we heard of it" bunkum as it is, trite.
Before court hearing the tenants repeatedly told us how they had been given advice by Richard in person at PropertyWorld on their lease, and had been dealing exclusively with him to renew a contract we did not agree to renew. What the response also fails to mention that we were charged on a contract renewal that was never agreed upon "magic!" and we were never aware of until we saw it in our bank statements. A renewal that was miraculously back-dated to before the 30 day notice I issued to the tenants. The tenants thereafter never paid rent for a further 8 months.
PropertyWorld mostly avoided phone calls from ourselves throughout this period, unless we dialed from different telephone numbers of said we were someone else.
If I can just share one last thing with you: it would be the smarmy tone I was given by PropertyWorld when I questioned them about why a contract renewal was issued. It was as slimy as the response below.

Having tried, unsuccessfully, to reach you to discuss this with you personally, I feel it is appropriate that I address your comments in this forum. Let me start by detailing the facts. The property in question was let by Propertyworld in July 2011 on a Let Only (finders only, non-managed service) to 3 individuals on behalf of your Mother. All three applicants were fully referenced through Homelet, an independent referencing company. They passed all the criteria and were acceptable as applicants. We separately obtained satisfactory work references, previous landlord references confirming the rent had been paid in full and on time, 3 months bank statements for all applicants, pay slips and copies of passports. Your mother was made fully aware of the comprehensive checks we made and also confirmed her acceptance of the applicants.
In December 2011 we wrote to your Mother and asked if she wanted to renew the contract. She confirmed by email on the 30th December 2011 that she wanted to continue with the current tenants and wanted to roll over on a periodic basic. We had no further contact from your Mother until March 2013 (approximately 20 months after the tenants first moved in) when she asked us to offer the tenants a new 6 months tenancy agreement. I can only presume she was happy with the tenants and they were paying the rent satisfactorily and looking after the property because she wanted to offer them a new agreement. We duly arranged this and obtained a signed tenancy agreement which she was given.
We have had no contact with your mother apart from approximately 4 years ago when she asked us to value the property for a potential sale. We did this but she did not instruct Propertyworld to sell the flat. I do not know if another agent was instructed to sell the flat. The Let only service your mother paid for meant Propertyworld had no involvement in collecting rent, inspecting the property or dealing with any maintenance problems. This is solely the responsibility of the landlord. It is unclear whether in fact the occupants of the property you refer to were actually the people we vetted and who moved into the property. We have had no contact from your mother, you or anyone else regarding the flat for 4 years.
I am therefore particularly surprised at your comments “Propertyworld assumed no responsibility almost laughed at our misfortune”. This is clearly untrue. The first I was aware of the difficulties you refer to was when I saw the review you posed on Google last week. It is also worth noting that your Mother took out a rent guarantee policy at the time the flat was let in 2011 for 6 months. These policies are offered by the referencing company, in this case Homelet, and are only done so when they are completely satisfied with the calibre of the tenants. I do not know if your mother took out subsequent policies (I presume not as we were not asked and you refer to “our insurance was fruitless”). If it had then the rent would have been guaranteed and all legal expenses if the tenants had to be evicted would have been covered by the referencing agency.
I wish you had contacted me to discuss this in person rather than posting the review which gives a very misleading and inaccurate account of Propertyworld’s involvement. I also wish you had contacted me if and when you began experiencing problems with the tenants who were living in the property. Despite not managing the property we take great pride in offering landlords as much help as we can and would have happily offered our professional advice and help.
However as stated earlier we were not informed and were completely in the dark and therefore unable to offer our help.
I am genuinely sorry to hear of your difficulties but in light of the above I feel holding Propertyworld responsible, and posting such an aggressive, misleading and in parts completely untrue account of Propertyworld’s involvement is very unreasonable and unfair.

GoogleWould highly recommend Property World. We met several local agents when selling our flat and they were by far the most attentive and had an actual plan for how to get the best price. Dan and Kevin were both a delight to deal with and helped through the whole process rather than seeing it as 'job done' once an offer was accepted.

GoogleI called as someone called me from this agents and I spoke to a woman called Claire she was so rude I had to hang up on her. I called back when I was less stressed by her. She sighed on the phone, I said I don't work I said combined income with my husband (well over asking) she said you don't work, aggressively, I said I can't work. I asked if she could send a confirmation email, she refused to send a confirmation email stating 'I wanna save my self a job' very rudely, she was so rude! When I asked for her name she tried the end the call with a changed tone trying to sound nice. How can you have someone like this on the phones as your first point of contact? That's embarrassing for the company.

GoogleI had been desperate, calling, emailing etc and was told we would get a video viewing, and I spoke to one woman who was so cold on the phone like there was nothing there, like I was a bother to dare call. Then we just got ignored. We are in a tight spot and really need to move house. We were really treated terribly. I honestly don't understand cruelty, I'll never be able to get my head round it. Its been a rough weekend for me, Father's Day without my Dad and I was really feeling it. I hoped for an ounce of good news and these people couldn't even reply. Awful.

GoogleWe bought a property sold by PropertyWorld. Our vendors bought the property from them originally, which was already a good sign. Estate agents tend to be pretty awful, so we had low expectations, but these guys are fantastic!
