Up until recently I'd been a customer of Property World for a long time (before no longer requiring an estate agent). On every occasion I've dealt with them I've been delighted with their service. I bought my flat through them over 10 years ago and they were brilliant, they got me a great deal and were there for me every step of the way. More recently I decided to let a flat through them, and I cannot think of a single thing they've done wrong, the whole team have been great. And unlike the dubious "customers" who've supplied poor reviews previously (and disappeared when challenged), I'd be delighted to allow Richard to supply proof of my dealings with them.

I don't believe any of the good reviews I've read. I'm currently initiating an investigation into this estate agency who lied to me about having sales viewings at the property which is currently tenanted. The agency did not have any keys to the property and it was agreed that they would do viewings once or twice a week with the tenant present who would let them in. After 6 weeks I became suspicious by their lack of communication and my phone messages not being returned. They had informed me of up to 8 viewings having taken place but I'd had to chased them up afterwards to find out what the prospective buyers thought. I was informed that most viewers were not impressed by the house and the agent thought that he may have overpriced it. My tenant had given notice to quit their tenancy during this time which I relayed to the agent who suggested that they had a tenant who needed a short term rental which would be suitable whilst they continued to market the house to sell. I waited for two weeks for the agent to confirm that there client would be renting it, and was told by the agent that 'the husband hated it'. At this point I telephoned my current tenant and inquired how many viewings they thought had taken place. I was informed by my tenant that absolutely no viewings had been carried out at all since the property had gone on to the market and no prospective short term renter had been around to view the house either. The latter of my correspondence with the agent is on several emails and my current tenants have signed a document to confirm that there have never been any viewings. I have now terminated my contract with this agency. I know exactly what they were up to and would not recommend them to anyone. Please note all who read this - If you intend to sell a property, please get at least 3 or better 5 different agents around to value it. Check out each agents reviews on line. Go on to Zoopla or Rightmove and see what's sold similar to your property in your area, noting the sale price. Finally, don't ever be lured into an agent trying to undersell your property so they can get their profit quickly or worse still sell it to a friend or property developer and get a backhander!

If you are looking for a professional, fair and honest Estate Agency then look no further. My partner and I had the pleasure of renting a one bedroom flat via Property World for over two years and we were always impressed with the way Property World's management team, went above and beyond to ensure the property we were renting was well maintained. Any problems we reported were resolved quickly and efficiently and always followed up by an experienced property manager. The directors Dan and Richard really care about their clients and go the extra mile to ensure that their business is built with a personable, reliable and positive approach. I would recommend Property World's services to both Landlords and prospective tenants. They are a refreshing independent Estate Agency who are doing a great job.

Awful responses from one particular agent. We had made an offer on a property for rent and awaiting an answer. After calling many times was just met with excuses and no returned calls. I then got hung up on by the agent blaming it on the 'signal' when it clearly wasn't. Followed by a lousy answer by text which was confusing (saying the landlord wants the property back) and had no further explanation. Bad communication and excuses.
