GooglePearl & Coutts are unquestionably the best Estate agent I have ever dealt with. They cannot be faulted. Great service, very quick to deal with any issues or queries I may have had. Excellent service with the best of people. Cannot thank them enough especially Kutlay who has always been professional and helpful.

GoogleThanks Dorian, Angela, Ellie and everyone at P+C for being great landlords over the last few years. They were responsive, supportive and never made me feel bad for asking for repairs and changes, as so often landlords do. I would rent with P+C again in the future.

GoogleAlthough their response time is usually good, their charges are excessive and their property in Percy Street is not well maintained which leads to all sorts of problems arising from leaking roofs, blocked gutters etc. etc. etc. They send invoices and add interest as arrears when the invoice has only just been raised. Will certainly NOT renew my lease when it comes up. Very unhappy commercial tenant.

GoogleWe currently have flats in our building which are being flooded every single time it rains due to poor construction originally and shoddy repairs since. Brand new flats are being trashed by constant leaks leading to electrics being tripped and interiors being wrecked. Residents are being woken up at night by literal raining indoors. P&C have known about it for years and done absolutely nothing. Nothing more than bodge job repairs to the roof. It’s disgraceful. They also employ companies that they own to do over-priced and inaccurate surveys conducted by an unqualified person which was never approved by leaseholders. Said company also tried to charge a commission on the repair work to ‘project manage’ and so created a scope of works that was much greater than was ever required. P&C also refuse to disclose commission or kick-backs on our costs such as insurance. To be continued.

GooglePearl & Coutts have managed my partners property for the last 2 years. I feel compelled share just how appalling a job they have done. They have neglected legal responsibilities regarding deposit protection (leaving us exposed to claims from our tenants), failed to keep us informed regarding important issues and most appallingly, I have just met my tenants today and been filled in about how appalling they feel they are treated by Pearl & Coutts. I want my tenants to feel looked after and treat the property as their home, however it seems that their dealing with Pearl & Coutts have left them angry. We will be changing agencies as soon as possible and would urge others to not make the same mistake we have.
Pearl & Coutts only manage properties that we own ourselves. Therefore it is impossible for us to be responsible for someone else’s property or tenants. This review is plainly factitious, and it is either malicious or a case of badly mistaken identity. We are following up with our Google account management team. UPDATE: As suspected this review was made in error. The reviewer posted the same comment on the All Agents website and as a result of our complaint determined he had targeted Pearl & Coutts in error and the review has been removed from that website. Tom, we would appreciate you removing your review as soon as possible. Negative feedback like this has a serious impact on our business, particularly when it is either not true or posted in error. Unfortunately I have to give this company one star as there is no lower option available. UHY have got their hands on my SIPP provider (Hartley Pensions), have stopped me drawing down my pension from the cash that I have in my cash account and refuse to communicate with me. They are blocking any attempt to enable fellow SIPP holders to communicate with one another and running up enormous costs to charge onto their unfortunate victims, not sure whether they are inept or parasitic - probably both - a really horrible company.

That's if you do manage to finally get hold of someone! 4 months without my deposit being returned, despite me filling my room on time. GoogleWorst managing agent I’ve ever had. They increase our service charge and instead of spending it on maintaining the building, they spend significant sums with companies owned by themselves. They spent a lot of my money without my consent on a building survey with another company they own and then provided the wrong report. They haven’t fixed my leaking roof, which has caused huge internal damage to my property. Dodgy business practices throughout. Avoid!!

GoogleLived in a P&C managed flat for two years, and they've always been very responsive with fixing things, like shower, washing machine, fridge and damp. Particularly the latter was a very positive experience where the issue got permanently solved (rare thing for London!). Also on it regarding safety checks etc. Staff are friendly and helpful and always respond to emails and phone calls.

UHY Hacker Young are the administrators for our SIPP company that went into administration-though the person we have been dealing with also was the chap we corresponded with some years ago who was then working for the SIPP company!!!! Our private funds (over 400k) have been held by our solicitor for over one month whilst awaiting confirmation from UHY that they can release it to us. UHY finally agreed if our solicitor would agree to certain terms. This our solicitor did today but still no response from UHY confirming release of funds was permitted. We are the wronged party due to our SIPP Co stealing clients funds & the UHY have made it even more stressfull by their incompetance, lack of communication, lack of response, unable to understand basic accounts…. The list is endless. FCA not interested…. No recourse for the wronged little person. We have done everything UHY have asked us to do and still no funds into our account. Court action will be initiated tomorrow….

GoogleWorst experience with a landlord I’ve ever had! My company was swindled for £5K as a non-refundable deposit only to then find out the roof of the property was outdated and faulty so that it leaked inside everytime it rained outside. Great for the office plants, not so great for working. Unless you want to deal with thugs and bullies, don’t work with them.
