Easiest Rental I’ve ever undertaken a seamless end to end transaction. OpenRent handled it all, from viewing to referencing to deposit & rental through to move in inventory & key collection a simple & stress free procedure the only way to rent a property. It’s a shame OpenRent don’t organise removals now THAT is an absolute nightmare!!

Hi,Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and I am sorry if you have had any issues with receiving your deposit back.Once created by the Rent Now system, an OpenRent tenancy is a private agreement between the tenant(s) and the landlord. OpenRent deposits are held in a government approved custodial scheme and this is controlled through your landlord's account. This means that your landlord is responsible for returning the deposit to you.You can check which scheme your deposit is protected with in your contract. You can access the contract by selecting ‘view application’ next to your tenancy in the link below, and then pressing "View Full Contract" in the contract section of your tenancy page.https://www.openrent.co.uk/listingmanager/rentnowmanagerUsually a landlord will request deposit repayment via their account. However, if you're unable to reach them, or it is the landlord's preference, you can request repayment directly from the deposit protection scheme's website. Fantastic Service for renters and landlords. I have used the service so many times and I have a better service with them then any other agents. They charge no fees and are on hand for everything including reference checks tenancy agreements etc.. Why go to estate agents. They are there for the side of the landlord and tenant. Highly recommend.

I have had a totally stress-free experience of letting and referencing with Open Rent compared with previous agencies. Their web-site is very user-friendly for a non-techie oldie like me, The response to the ad was virtually immediate and a letting was achieved on the first day of viewing so I will be using them again.

I've been using openrent for a number of years and they never fail to deliver a prompt and honest service that is excellent for landlords as well as tenants. For £49 you can advertise your property on rightmove and many other sites until you successfully find the right tenant. The success rate is second to none. Thank you again open rent. Therese
