We recently sold our flat in Stoke Newington with Oakwood and were extremely impressed by the service. We decided to sell as the property market was allowed to reopen in June and Phil and Daniel had sold it within six weeks. Phil was brilliant at ensuring we felt comfortable, negotiating very reasonable fees and delivering an excellent to market strategy, as well as ensuring that all covid regulations for viewings to ensure that viewers, Oakwood staff and we were kept safe were implemented properly. Daniel was exceptional at keeping us calm, in the loop and coordinating between us and the buyers to ensure that the process was smooth, and as quick as possible despite the backlogs faced by overworked lawyers!!PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

The team at Oakwood were simply amazing. Never too pushy, entirely transparent and honest with us through out the sale of our house. What started out like a straightforward transaction became a little bit of a nightmare due to unforeseen circumstances. However, despite the minor setbacks and one huge curve ball at the end, Jay pulled out all the stops and absolutely delivered! Consequently we managed to complete and move into our lovely new home just last week! A huge ‘thank you’ to Jay and the team. We used this company for buying a few years ago, dreadful experience with the gentleman we spoke with on numerous occasions, very rude and unprofessional towards our conveyancing solicitor, he should of kept his personal feelings out of it, and kept it strictly professional, we did not need to hear about his back history of grief and vitriol towards her, just because she is competent, careful, and above board. Unlike this man's slap dash, patronising, pompous, and rude attitude, with very pushy underhand ways, pretending he was all of a sudden our best pal of a life time with his phoney demeanour. We did not wish to proceed with our purchase due to damp and mould issues in the property, and it was a pleasure to not speak with the gentleman from Oakwood Estate Agents again. I would never use them again, I much preferred our local 'Focus' estate agent branch, who I can't praise enough.

I’ve bought, rented and sold a property via Oakwood Estates and so I would say that I have a pretty thorough view of them and their services. Oakwood may be relatively small but don’t be fooled. No one knows Stokey (and the surrounding areas) better than them. They a thorough, professional, competitively priced given the level of service they provide, but most importantly they are proactive. I had a pretty smooth sale but the small bumps I did experience were dealt with quickly and I had no doubt that they were working hard to ensure both I and the prospective buyer’s interests were served. A special shout out to Jay who’s a total professional and really knows his stuff. We have been renting a property in Stoke Newington this year let and managed through Oakwood. Andrew and Clare were great from the very start when we chose to let the property using a fair and transparent system whereby if you agree to meet the asking price, they will take the property off the market. In managing the flat, Oakwood were prompt with a couple of issues that we had, ensuring that the leak under the sink and broken back door were fixed on the same day. Recommend renting from them!

I now have had the experience of buying and selling with Oakwood and on both occasions we've received a flawless service from everyone involved. The approach at Oakwood is very different to some of the more typically aggressive estate agents out there without any compromise on performance or results (especially given the current climate). In particular Andy has been a massive calming and supportive influence in an otherwise stressful situation and gave us clear and professional guidance on not only our sale but how to approach our purchase (not with Oakwood) which we really benefitted from as well. We literally couldn't have managed our sale without Oakwood! I have used Oakwood for all my property needs. I have purchased and sold with them. The team is always polite, friendly, professional and transparent. I have used other agents in the area, but they all seem to be typically 'estate agency' salesman. I have never found this with Oakwood. Jay in particular is always a pleasure to deal with and has always provided straight forward professional advice and I have found he has a great balance of acting fairly for both buyers and sellers.
