As it was the first time selling a home, we struggled to know where to start as even choosing an estate agent seemed daunting. We met with five in total, but once we met Jonathan the search stopped as we really liked him, liked everything he had to say and he gave us a competitive quote! Selling in mid-2023 was a really difficult time in the market, and selling an ex-council home always comes with a few extra factors to worry about, but I was so happy we went with Jonathan and Oaks to sell our flat. Communication was great, we were always given plenty of warning for viewings, and we actually had two offers that we were happy with. Jonathan and Conal were always polite and friendly and the whatsapp chat made it easy to get in touch. I also found Jonathan a calming influence in the later stages when I was feeling anxious about a few completion delays. All in all I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Oaks to anyone selling a home.

Oaks Estate Agents Tulse Hill were absolutely fantastic, I can't recommend them enough. Really detailed knowledge of Tulse Hill, the market and were astute in monitoring how wider trends were playing out locally. My house was a particularly hard sell because of it's location, and the market falling off a cliff in 2023, but Jonathan, Harvey and Conal put an insane amount of effort in to get me sold. Their communication was brilliant and they consistently got buyers through the door. Oaks were decently priced and they didn't hard sell me or overprice my property; and were completely honest about the process. Decent people who are good at their jobs! They found me the right buyer, and their instincts were spot on, every time, they really really know their stuff. A safe pair of hands and you know they will get the job done. I'm very grateful to have found them and would use them again in a heartbeat.

We recently used Oaks to sell our two bedroom flat. Johnathan and his team have been fantastic! We're a family with young children, the team took the time to understand our requirements and accomodate viewings around our schedule, as well as keep us updated with every viewing feedback. They were able to secure a sell quickly, and resolve any queries from the buyer before it become a major concern. Now a few months later, we're ready to complete and we're very grateful to the team. We would definitely recommend Johnathan and his team!

I recently had a flat viewing with Andree and although the flat ended up not being exactly what I was looking for, Andree remained nothing but patient and understanding of my thoughts. He also came prepared with additional properties that he thought may be suitable and gave me some really helpful and transparent advice for my property search, all of which was really appreciated especially as a first time buyer! Ahead of the viewing I also had a couple phone calls with Saif who was really attentive in listening to what I was looking for in my property search. All in all a great team to work with so far.

One star overrated! I would highly recommend clients to use another firm. If you want the coy boys of agents to deal with property matter these are your guys! They have boasted their many year of experience and in reality, no communication, no emails and poor attendance at a given time. I wasn’t allowed to view a property after I had a dismissed call with the agents as they couldn’t even have the decency to appear at the property. Guys don’t bother with these amateur company and be spoken to like a child. Worst customer service and dumbfounded company as to say. I hope you guys go bust!

Oakes was our second try with an estate agent in 2023, and sold our property in a very difficult economic period. Great customer service for us, as well as being considerate to our tenants, minimising disturbance through weekly weekend open-day viewings rather than multiple visits at all times of day. Very straight talking chats and advice from Jonathan, avoiding the jargon and sales talk we'd become accustomed to. Conal couldn't have been more helpful and professional. It was a bonus that they had one of the lowest fees we'd come across, but would highly recommend anyway. Thanks Guys.

The agency didn’t bother turning up to my arranged viewing. Communication was awful to advise what was going on. Told ‘he’s 2 minutes away’ and still wasn’t there after 15 minutes. Having viewed the advert after it showed as ‘sold subject to contract’ so they clearly just didn’t bother turning up as the property had sold. All it would have taken was an email or phone call to say the property had been taken off the market. If this is what they’re like for arranging a viewing I dread to think if you are buying or selling through them. Will avoid this agency moving forwards.

We recently went to purchase a property through Oaks Estate agents in Norwood. We dealt with Daniel who was rushing us throughout the whole process and kept asking to chase our mortgage broker and surveyors. The whole process was very stressful and he said he bought a house recently and didn't feel the need to get a survey done which, we felt like he was rushing us through the process without proper due diligence, but he did go on to say it's a personal choice and up to us. When our survey results came back. It flagged A LOT of issues with the property which is marketed way above average price of the area and it was clear that to fix all the issues we would have have to spend a significant amount of money and time. The customer service from the estate agents to the buyers was appalling and clear that they just wanted the property off their books without any concern or care to the buyers. We will not be working with Oaks Estate agents again.
