GoogleGeorge, james and the team at NJ estates recently sold my property in Enfield and the experience I received was refreshing. From the initial valuation George proved to me that I would get an honest and professional service and that's exactly what I got. I was provided we regular updates without having to chase and they went above and beyond when dealing with the solicitors. Hands down the best agency I have worked with. Highly recommended.

GoogleWhere do we even start as James was superb all around… firstly we would like to say it was an absolute pleasure to have James as our agent. His approach has been very human and emotive from the beginning - not mechanical as some others whose aim is only to close the deal asap at all cost. He understood our personal dilemma and dealt with us calmly and patiently all the way with sincere advice to our benefit rather than putting his interest first. We had an open channel of communication and in the end the transaction was concluded very satisfactorily. We started as strangers but become friends during the process. GoogleNever responds to requests for maintenance. I've been waiting for a month for repairs to an Nicholas James Estates managed property even called the office multiple times and was told "James will call you back in the next hour" and never happened. Just know you'll need to repair everything yourself if you choose a property from this useless bunch.

GoogleI was a tenant letting a Nicholas James managed property for a year and whilst we got off to a rocky start, once we were handed over to their Property Manager, Joanna, their customer service became immensely good. It was like when you buy some Polos from a vending machine and two packets drop down at once. Responsive to Emails? Check Available on the phone? Check Quick solutions when appliances broke? Check Polite and Professional at all times? Check Large collection of images of extractor hoods? Check Joanna ensured that during the difficult time of the Covid pandemic, making sure our flat was functional and comfortable at all times was a breeze. If you're going to give a load of your money to a London landlord, do it with Nicholas James (then ask for Joanna).PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

GoogleI really recommended this agency! I have a very good experience with them. I found the add on zoopla about studio flat and we book the view. In the view I meet this lovely guy called Vince. He is a very good guy, he help me a lot. He also help me to get a better price on the rent. He is a very friendly person! GoogleOne of the best estate agency experiences of my life, comfy seats, cracking home decor mags and a very welcoming member of staff. It was only topped by the day light robbery experience of the coffee shop next door. Where we had our pants pulled down, 2 coffees, a pan aux chocolate and a bacon roll for £20. Such a great deal !!!!!!!

YellHouse not cleaned properly/ false promises
Had a disappointing experience with renting out a properly via Vince, only leaving this review as he had called to ask us to as there was a reward internally. When I moved in the flat it was actually dirty and the carpets hadn’t been clean, the washing machine was broke and ruined one of my expensive dresses, and we were told the bathroom & kitchen would have someTLC but they just put a lick of paint over the cracks. The garden had bags of rubbish in, and we ended up spending a lot of money making this presentable. The experience actually made me quite distrusting of my own judgement, as initially he said he’d put the works that we’re needed to be completed on the contract but then said ‘it doesn’t matter’, So I thought it was taken care of. Luckily now I’ve found a new lettings agent who are a lot more transparent and the maintenance and lettings team work well together.

GoogleWhat can i say about these guys at Nicholas James Estate agents. The upmost professionalism a business can deliver. Andrew who we dealt with the majority of the time was very respectful and extremely considerate of my wife who was pregnant at the time we was trying to rent our property. At the moment my property is with these guys and will remain with them for as long as i have the property to be let. Fantastic service and i highly recommend them.

Not only have they found great tenants for us who pay the rent we want but are also hassle free tenants and anything that they ask for is dealt with seamlessly by Nicholas James! They manage our property as of it were there’s! Not only FOMO recommend them but I go out of my way to recommend them! If you want outstanding service that goes above and beyond...these are your guys!!!

GoogleDodgy business practice with Andrew entering flats without permission from renters. Exceptionally rude and entitled attitude. The boss didn’t even have the courtesy to reply to an email complaint. Companies House has them listed as in liquidation - not surprised. Avoid at all costs!

GoogleI moved to London from the West Midlands, I left my family home so this was the first time I’ve experianced going out on my own and gettimg my own place. Nicholas James was by far the perfect partner for my housing needs. My father had warned me about the troubles of renting a property and the hastles you can face with agents. I have to say not only was the process short, simple and effortless I really feel like the entirety of the staff at Nicholas James went the extra mile for me even when I cancelled and changed viewings. 100% recommend this agency above all else see for yourself you won’t be disappointed

GoogleI have recently dealt with Nicholas James who rented out my flat in North London. I can honestly say it was a delight and a pleasure dealing with this agent. The communication with the office was courteous from the start and Anita the office manager was extremely polite, helpful and professional with phone calls and emails always returned! Andrew the lettings manager found a tenant for my property within 5 days and all checks and references were carried out swiftly and diligently. GoogleGreat work! Fantastic team! Letting my property was made easy thanks to Nicholas James. I was worried as my property was on the market with another agent and I did not want it to be left empty over the Christmas period with bills and a mortgage to cover. Referred to by a friend, walked into the NJ office on Monday and by Thursday they had found me a tenant. Genuinely really happy with their service and would recommend to anyone.
