I rent a flat that Next Move manage and their maintenance man Trevor is a bit of a hero: Several niggles were all dealt with in just one visit, the place left cleaner & tidier than when he arrived. Not what one expects in this day & age!

GoogleI had a terrible experience with Next Move. Constantly slow to respond and unhelpful with anything relating to the flat. They would regularly put the blame on us (the tenants) when we asking for things to be fixed, and on more than one occasion left us without hot water for over 48hrs (as it was deemed "not an emergency". Obviously there are lots of bad estate agents out there and Next Move are definitely included in that. Would never recommendNegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

TrustpilotExtremely rude staff (with a few exceptions), AVOID
I never write reviews, especially not negative ones as there is no point in spreading negativity, but NextMove really managed to anger me on several occasions because of their complete disregard for any humanity. The worst was coming from someone called Hector, who thankfully must have left, but the main team is still extremely rude and not paying attention to tenants at all. There are some exceptions though (Vincent, Dionne) but overall it is the only company that ever managed to shock me by their complete disrespect for the people they deal with.

GoogleWorst agents ever. Avoid at all cost. Rude, unhelpful, poor service. Would strongly NOT recommend. Rented with them before and they don’t make life easy for tenants at all. The condition of the property was a mess when I moved in and I had to physically dispose of the rubbish back at their offices myself, the sofa which was meant to come with the furnished apartment was removed and from thereon was a year of hassle. They’re very rude in correspondences and not transparent and honest at all. Very much with the landlord to leech as much as possible and making tenants life difficult.

GoogleWorst experience with an agency in 10+ years in London. Aware agencies are usually bad and aware I've been so lucky to have found nice enough agencies and a few decent landlords directly in the past (as everyone knows, an extremely rare breed) but Next Move always showed contempt for us as tenants, we felt contractually trapped even when some of the things agreed weren't fixed. We managed to meet with our landlord a couple of times and resolved a small % of things faster in person. The agency was there for no purpose, no mediation, no facilitating conversations, nothing apart from charging their silly fees, being rude and unprofessional. Maybe this is just the experience from the Church Street branch, and not wanting to make generalizations, I will likely always avoid them in any future needs.

GoogleI've had an excellent experience with Next Move in finding a rental property in Stoke Newington. In my search for a new flat to rent, I dealt with many estate agents. It was a very stressful for me with a baby. Many thanks to the team at Next Move. Especially grateful to Fatih who has been outstanding in his efforts to help me. He was very helpful and found the flat I wanted in no time for the right place. I would highly recommend their services.

I had an offer accepted by a landlady through Next Move - they kept the flat on the market, showed it to someone the day after my acceptance, and took an offer from them too. I had asked for a few hours to go through all the paperwork with my guarantor before paying my deposit (after I've been told that my offer was accepted), but the agents called sooner than this trying to put pressure on me to pay immediately. When I asked to speak to a manager because I was upset about these violations of our agreements, the staff including the manager were manipulative and rude.

A generally very poor estate agent, very glad to be rid of them. A complete lack of humanity given to any issues we raised. We very clearly requested for a bed to be removed before we moved in, this was on all our forms. When we moved in it was still there. We were told it would be collected, which it wasn't and it sat outside our flat for weeks, when we complained they told us to arrange for it to be removed. When we moved out they asked us where the bed was... Our deposit was late to be returned, longer than the timings given in our contract. When we complained about this we were told 'this is not in the law'. Just two of the many shambolic instances dealing with Next Move.

GoogleStaffed by incompetents, who held on to my deposit for almost three months, luckily for me I’m persistent! Had to chase them constantly, only to be provided (after two months) a trumped up repairs bill that was supported by a ridiculous self made ‘invoice’. And I was told that if I wanted I could go to the Tenancy Deposit scheme, but that would take two months...basically hoping that I’d give up and just accept their version. Nothing doing, went to the Tenancy Deposit scheme and got my money back. The only plus side to this company, is that the staff is so incompetent, they cannot even put together a coherent argument for the Tenancy Deposit scheme review. Avoid at all costs.... not worth the headache!!

GoogleI have dealt with Next Move for 15 years and they have always been helpful, friendly and professional in finding good tenants for my property. They also have been courteous and accommodating towards current tenants during viewings. Sean Hinds has always been my primary contact and he has been unfailingly helpful, efficient and friendly, especially in getting bac to me and keeping me updated. I have had limited dealings with other staff, eg, Peter and Abdul, but also recommend them highly.

Definitely these reviews are fake and i have raised this for further investigation with Trustpilot. I'm sorry but what i've been through as a tenant in one of the properties they manage, cannot even be described in a review. And of course i also have emails etc like one other reviewer said here.These people are a hazard to a tenants' mental health. Honestly.Last i heard from them was after the government's announcement for rent payments due to COVID-19 and THEY...sent an email, (for no reason - my payments have not been late EVER), basically telling me to not even think to miss a payment, in the most rude way that describes the constant attitude of their manager. Imagine I did have financial issues and i had to deal with them. I'm sorry but you cant play with people's lives like that when you're not even doing the most basic of your duties. They only collect payments and bully tenants. I don't know how they deal with landlords. I have dealt with 4 different agencies in London. I can say that usually they mostly care about the money, but at least i have never ever encountered so horrible, rude, inhumane behaviour and such, literally speaking, minimal to zero ability to even arrange an appointment to fix something broken in the property.Please make yourself a favour and stay away from Next Move because having serious issues with your home situation can be very stressful and these people won't do anything else than give you problems and take money.

GoogleBeware: will try to scam your deposit by demanding a professional clean at end of tenancy once you've already moved out. They did this without telling us and used a company that was 3x the price we were quoted for cleaning a 1 bed by local companies. Would not be surprised if there was a connection between them and this very, very expensive cleaning company they try and force on tenants.NegativeProfessionalism

I enlisted their services to sell a 5 bed Victorian house that had recently been refurbished. Was extremely impressed by the homework the agent had done at the first visit. I was kept up to date on a regular basis, were fully responsive through the entire process and even received a write up on the visits. Not only did i achieve asking but they were very open on providing some honest and helpful advice on my follow on purchase (away from the area).
Where the same review appears twice we show it once. We leave out reviews that name another agent or another of the brand's offices.
