terrible customer service

For the amount of money paid for classes at nextmove the customer service is abysmal. When you pay for a class in advance and reserve your spot, they will not let you inside if you’ve had not even a minute of delay (I came in at 19:00, exactly when the class was starting and they rather rudely turned me away because I was “supposed to be 5 minutes early”). Not only that, but they make you pay an additional sum for “not making it to class” (after not letting you in) - mind you, the additional sum is not for paying the spot you reserved, that money is payed in advance, this sum is simply just them being money hungry.

Next Move is a great Estate Agents. I have dealt with Next Move for a very many years, in particular with Sean (Lettings Department).I have always found Sean to be extremely professional, knowledgeable and competent in his field. He always listens to the client’s need and instructions and provides the right outcome for the client. In my opinion, he is customer focus, responds speedily to calls and client’s requirements. I can trust his advice in my decision making, as he exercises objectivity coupled with vast experience within the housing market.

We purchase some property from a elderly lady so we ask for a home disclosure witch thats is normal the realtor told us that the lady is old and can't give us a disclosure but at closing the lady was perfectly fine and with it there was nothing wrong with her besides just being elderly I don't know why you couldn't give us a disclosure but it makes me think that you were hiding something from us and that's shady Jenn Rabon that wasn't cool but we will find all the little things wrong and fix them regardless without complaints it would be nice to be told instead of searching its only right i dont understand why that's all

A bully working as a Director of Next…

A bully working as a Director of Next Move estate agents. Abdul Azad is a disgusting and highly unprofessional person who will respond in the most rude way possible, be passive aggressive in dealing with your requests as a tenant and if you ever have complaints be prepared for bullying and indirect threats. I know the London market is hard to navigate but people like this don't deserve to run a business and put tenants through hell so I would advise you from personal experience to avoid at ALL COSTS dealing with Next Move. He will try to convince you that any problem at their property is "your fault" and would go as far as to say that a house with 98% measured humidity is because "tenant is not opening the windows" and not because the flat is 200 years old with no proper insulation. I never wrote a review for any agent i came across in London, even though many of them were incompetent, but this one is a hazard and is dangerous to have dealings with. I seriously believe with all complains I read online, if people would try and sue them they would be out of business soon. Please respect yourself and find another place, maybe an incompetent agency but at least one that won't bully you or pose a threat to your mental health or your inner peace. The man is disgusting and the rest of team dances to his rhythm so forget about Next Move altogether if you want to be on the safe side.

The level of customer service from Abdul was terrible. Old pictures of the property on nextmove site that looked nothing like it’s current state and then when we politely asked him if he would be open to fixing some of the issues (He owned the property) his response and tone was very rude. Along the lines of if you don’t like it tough. Thank- insert your god here- he’s not our landlord. If only we had read some of the reviews earlier, there’s a obviously a bit of a theme. They’ll be polite as long as long as you pay your rent, don’t ask them any questions and let them keep your deposit. ZERO! It was sunny today though! :)

Have been searching for a new property with Next Move in Stoke Newington for a little while now as had moved from The States, and so far I have no complaints with the service provided. Madelene, my allocated lettings advisor, is friendly, prompt, knowledgeable about the properties and very easy to get on with. Her property suggestions match my criteria well, so very little time is wasted looking at unsuitable places. She is also very accommodating with scheduling viewings. When she was away the lettings manager Sean was helpful and friendly. I would recommend using Next Move to all my friends relocating.

AVOID AVOID AVOID. I lived in a nice flat in Islington fully managed by Next Move for three years and it actually astounds me how each individual I dealt with there is more incompetent than the last. I have never written a review like this before but I feel compelled to warn any landlords or tenants to avoid at all costs. From management all the way through to more junior members of staff my three years in dealing with them has been a nightmare. Luckily we never had any major issues with our flat and we had the direct details of our overseas landlord who was kind and responsive when things were urgent (even though he had paid the agency to manage the flat). Where you are living/ your home in London is now more important than ever, it is not worth any minimal saving you will make if they are cheaper. Avoid.

Do not rent from Next Move. We are currently undertaking legal action as Next Move are ignoring requests to return a deposit for a property we moved out of earlier in the year. We paid all rent and had a clear final inventory with no issues. They have not replied to emails or calls which is an unfortunate end to our tenancy.

We have let our Stoke Newington property for over 10 years with Next Move. In that time, we have had many issues, mostly routine but some which required special attention and control, which was not possible to oversee being out of the country. Next Move, and particularly Sean Hinds and Abdul Azad, have been exemplary through this time - always going the extra mile for us and ensuring we remain comfortable as Landlords. Cannot recommend this agency and its staff highly enough!

Next Move, and Sean in particular, were incredibly helpful during the process of applying for a new tenancy. There were a couple of small issues that came up during the process, but Sean was always available to help out, replying to emails in minutes and being available for a quick phone call whenever necessary. Thanks to this, the issues were resolved and the tenancy was sorted out quickly and efficiently. I can't recommend Next Move or Sean enough. I'm looking forward to dealing with them throughout the tenancy, and have faith that they'll continue to be excellent letting agents.

We recently rented our house out with Next Move. Alice, who handled most of this process, was very pleasant and professional. She listened carefully to everything we said, and put things in writing where appropriate. She was helpful throughout. Most of all, she found us amazing tenants (at least so far...), which is of course in many ways the most important thing for a landlord. Alice would get 5 stars. I've reduced to 4 (and could have reduced further) because I found overall that Next Move were not sufficiently proactive in finding tenants. The house was on the market for three months before we had tenants in, and in London with a nice property there's simply no need for that kind of delay. Any changes during that time were driven by us (eg flagging up a lack of visits by prospective tenants, or suggesting a price reduction) rather than by Next Move. So my overall sense is that Alice was very good, but you will need to chase and do some serious pushing in order to get things going with Next Move.

We completed sale of our flat today and the help and support from Next move was fantastic. Cant recommend them enough. From our first call when we were sussing out estate agents, Nathan and Nextmove were very upfront and honest. After calling all the rest we went back to them, they also were very reasonably priced. For the sale we got over our asking, we had issues with tenant not moving and the advice from next move was amazing. All advice given was honest, correct and volunteered freely. Honest, reliable and professional service

I sent out an email to multiple property agencies to enquiry about a property valuation, Nathan was the very first one to contact me. Gentle, professional, and very considerate in his approach. He also called a couple of hours before our appointment to let me know that he was running behind schedule and might have arrived 20 mins later. He arrived as announced and removed his shoes before even stepping through my entrance door -what a perfect visitors-! His recommendations and suggestions were very helpful and I received my valuation letter within half an hour from the time he departed from my flat. I would have no hesitations in recommending Nathan to anyone looking for an honest, reliable and professional service.

Best estate agent by far

I have bought and sold a property a few years apart through Nextmove and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Ciaran was a joy to work with both times -extremely polite, personable and genuinely nice guy. Definitely not the usual estate agents. I also find they price properties fairly and therefore get things sold promptly. I have only good things to say about Nextmove and I’ve had a fair share of bad experiences with estate agents and the property market!
