Truly awful. Was told things on the phone that they later denied in writing, which led to us living at the property without a tenancy agreement for over 6 weeks. Once moved out, ignored completely when trying to get our deposit back. The good news is that after 4 months of being ignored, they also ignored MyDeposits which resulted in us receiving our full deposit. Avoid at all costs and make sure you raise a dispute with the deposit provider if they do not respond to you.

Booked a viewing with them and the agent was very rude. His excuse for not being able to make a certain time was that he would be too busy driving a long distance. So we agreed to the time he set. Then he called me to meet him at the nearby station at that time, and when I asked him to send me a confirmation email with the address and appointment time, he rudely kept insisting I don't need one. He then said that was "too busy" to do it. Too busy to do your job? He ended the call with a very sour, threatening note saying, "If you want to view the property, then meet me at the station at (insert time)." Terribly unprofessional compared to other agencies, who have always confirmed the viewings with an email or at least a text, or gave great customer service when asked a simple request. I later cancelled the viewing entirely as I was really put off by his unprofessionalism. If the agency treats me this way just for a viewing, I don't want to find out how unhelpful they are after I sign a 1-year contract with them.

Terribly unprofessional compared to other agencies, who have always confirmed the viewings with an email or at least a text. The agent repied to my enquiry a week later asking if I was available to arrange a viewing. Then, he never came back to me and he never turned up for the viewing. When I called him, he told me that the flat was let the previous day and that he never confirmed the viewing. Absolute unprofessionalism!NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

Very unprofessional!!! 1st agent called me to book an appointment but unfortunately I've had to wait him to call me back cause friend was calling on other line... 2nd wasted my time cause didn't tell me on viewing I need to bring passports - I did tell him day before on viewing I'll bring ID and he didn't remember he needs passports? 3rd doing problems cause few other people who will be moving in - members of my family - they didn't come for viewing... UNPROFESSIONAL AND WASTING OTHER PEOPLE'S TIME. NEVER AGAIN.

Appalling service. We are still awaiting deposit return nine weeks after vacating our property. No information was communicated to us regarding this for over six weeks, after which point significant deductions were proposed which seem unreasonable as read against the inventory report. Despite a significant part of the deposit being uncontested, NetLettings have not returned this money to us after multiple requests. It is unclear whether NetLettings are willing to engage with the deposit protection scheme or whether we will need to recover the deposit via small claims court. Exasperating experience all round. Very sporadic and poor communication in dealing with this issue, which is consistent with the experience during the tenancy in which several requests for repair were ignored and not addressed. Hard to think of a worse experience with property management in my 10 years of living in London. Would recommend avoiding their service as far as possible.

Absolute shambles. Once you become a tenant, they just stop responding to all emails and don't care about any problems you have. Since I became a tenant, I only really needed them 3 times: 1. At the very beginning, to fix a broken blind on the window. I asked for it to be done, they promised it would be done, I sent a few reminders. It was still not done after 1.5 years of my tenancy. 2. After a year of tenancy, I sent them repeated requests for a month to discuss extension of tenancy. They would just ignore me and never replied until literally the day before. No discussion possible. 3. After the tenancy was done, I was not informed about the day I had to move out by until literally the day before. They tried to force me to pay a ridiculous cost for cleaning and repeatedly refused to agree for me to arrange the cleaners myself cheaper. They agreed only after I threatened to leave the country and never to talk to them again. Do not rent with Net Lettings if you care at all about anything being done while you're a tenant.

This lettings agent will do everything they can to ensure the landlord is financially benefiting whilst the tenants are left with nothing. Do not use this company, avoid at all costs. The London rental market is at it's worst for tenants and this company will keep it this way.

Absolutely appalled that this company is sending mailshots to homeowners in Cornwall’s vulnerable communities asking to buy their houses so they can “expand their portfolio”. Communities like these are being hollowed out by this sort of predatory behaviour. Presumably, being in the housing business, this company should be aware of the situation - if they’re not, then they strike me as incompetent. If they are aware and are carrying on regardless, then they’re immoral. Definitely do not recommend.
