Hi Mr Mina Thank you for your review of our business at McMahon & Partners. I think it is very unfortunate that you have given our service a 2 star review and commented in the way you have. In response... You asked our company to sell your property, that is what we did, at a very good price in a very challenging market. You say we were lazy and dishonest, I beg to differ, lazy is not something anyone can accuse me or any of my colleagues of.. try calling my office at 8am or 7pm, your call will be answered by me. Dishonest, well talk about the pot calling the kettle black. To be clear, when I met your wife and valued your property in January 2020, I told her clearly the value & our fees for the service, Sales fees: Sole agent 1.5% + VAT. After a discussion with yourself, we verbally agreed a revised fee of 1.2% plus vat, or 1% plus vat if the sale price was BELOW £450,000, which I reluctantly agreed to. Your property sold at £ 450,000, not below £450,000. In the end you only paid a 1% plus vat fee begrudgingly, which was not correct, and if you were resident in this country, I would certainly pursue you for the £900 you short changed my business. It's funny you think we are lazy, every day you would call stressed out about losing your purchase in Spain if you could not sell your flat. Well we did sell your flat, and if you had been a little better organised the process would have gone a lot more smoothly. Your building was not managed correctly, leaseholders were in dispute with each other, maintenance had been neglected for years, as well as a flood that occurred that you had neglected to mention. You think that is the selling agents fault, when we have no idea of any of this, well it is not, it has nothing to do with the agents trying to sell your property. It is your fault as the leaseholder [ and share of freeholder] to make sure this information is available, instead of making it a massive problem when you need to sell in a hurry. I don't expect you to be grateful, for the several times I had phone conversations with your buyer, on your behalf. Convincing the buyer that you were doing your best to get the numerous and varied issues sorted out, so that he could proceed. The buyer did need assurance and convincing, that is what we did for you, as well as getting you a very good price from a proceedable and extremely patient purchaser. If the deal had fallen apart, you would still be trying to sell the flat now and be lucky to achieve 95% of the price you did achieve, thanks to McMahon & Partners.. You would have certainly paid a higher fee to any other agents, that is for sure. I will not accept your comments as they are completely incorrect, and extremely disingenuous. Regards, Sean McMahon.

Dear Andrea, Thank you for your comments. We are sorry that you did not have a good experience with us. Unfortunately, during Covid- 19 we have not been operating and not been able to respond as fast as we have hoped with all our staff being furloughed. We are now back fully operating with our lettings team now responding to all enquires missed. We are of course very disappointed to receive such a review, our aim is to not only provide a good service to our Landlords but our tenants as well, any feedback will be taken on board. In this instance it does need to be noted that as per the signed contract, tenants do need to take responsibility to make good any damage before their tenancy end and should this not happen will then liable for repair costs. Such situations and deposit deductions can simply be avoided if contract terms were adhered too. On numerous occasions we have asked you to not smoke in the property. You ignored us and continue to take illegal substances. You broke the hob and think this is ok for the hob to not be fixed. You did not leave the property in a good condition. We also do not tolerate such foul language and abuse to our staff members. Thank you.

Dear Janos and his mates, Please can you stop posting fake and negative reviews. We are a professional company and do not ever shout at customers and be aggressive. You seem to have far too much time on your hands complaining. You haven't been a reasonable tenant and think an estate agent can change a building. We manage an apartment not a building structure.
