GoogleThe day before the delivery of the flat, I hired the Cleaner service which used to perform periodic cleaning service there. On the next day, day of delivering the flat, I invited Camron the employee of McMahon to make an inspection with me but he told me he was ‘out of time'.
Since the beginning our agreement was that I would receive the holding deposit in up to 7 days. Then after 11 days without they answering the phone , I had to go back to London just tu solve that. Finally they charged me in £810 to clean a fla that was clean and even more they accused me of stealing things from the landlord without any proof of that. THEY aren’t trustworthy.
I DO NOT recommend McMahon & Partners to my family and friends or anyone!!!

Hi Vitor. I'm genuinely disappointed in your comments regarding our business. You left the property pretty dirty and not at all clean. That is why we had to spend money on a professional clean. You also left our clients linen and laundry in a filthy state and we had to get it all laundered. This deal was never a serviced apartment rental where you had all facilities included as well as cleaning, it was a short term rent where you were supposed to leave the property as you found it, and you did not do that. That is why we had to take a portion of your deposit to cover the cost of returning our clients property to the condition it was when he vacated and allowed you to stay there. As far as being trustworthy, I'd recommend next time you wish to rent a property, try and read the terms of the agreement.
Also having your father come into my office and demand immediate repayment of the deposit was rather excessive. As I told you I would return your holding deposit as soon as we agreed fair deductions. That is exactly what we did. A few hours later. We did not benefit from your stay and we did not accuse you of taking anything, although our client mentioned something had gone missing, it was at all a specific accusation. I would hope you learn that next time you leave a property, employ a professional cleaner, and check they actually clean. Thankyou.

As far as being trustworthy, you have not the right to comment, we have been in business for many years and have many satisfied and grateful clients who will testify to our professionalism. You know that you left the flat dirty, and we needed to clean it professionally, which cost us, and our client money. You were supposed to leave the property as you found it, ie in pristine condition. You did not do this and therefore we needed to charge you costs, that is it. It was made clear to you prior to your move in. You left numerous amounts of dirty linen and laundry that we needed to get cleaned. You got back your deposit minus costs. That is all. Rgds. GoogleI stayed at one of McMahon's properties for two years and had a very positive experience. Anything we asked of them was handled in a very swift manner. Louise and Jasmine were the two people I dealt with during my tenancy - they were always very friendly and accommodating.
The only problem I had with McMahon was at the early stages, when we were still working on securing the tenancy. I dealt with a person named Jonathan, who made the initial process rather difficult by insisting on what I felt were unfair conditions (he wanted us to pay 6 months at a time and wouldn't allow us to use a guarantor; he told us that we'd have to buy our own couch when other employees said that they absolutely provide a couch to all their tenants).
Despite the early difficulties, our overall stay was incredibly pleasant and I'd happily recommend this agency to prospective renters.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

Not very professional, arrived late even though the distance between the flat and their office was only 120 yards.
I booked to view a 2 bed flat to buy and was shown a 2 bed flat to rent - how can you get that wrong.
The receptionist was not interested in providing any customer service.
Sent two emails in the morning to ask if it was possible to change the time to an earlier time - no reply.
Speaking to the negotiator and it seems they don’t care as they are too busy.
Don’t expect any customer service from this agent.

GoogleI haven’t had a worse experience with any realtor, actually with any professional. I was asked to turn up for a viewing at one property, once I arrived I was told to go to another because of an error. Okay, I went there to be told that Jak (the negotiator) won’t be able to conduct the viewing because “someone” had messed up and double booked him. Still okay. Instead of offering a simple apology, he told me they had let out all apartments in the area and that it was my fault I travelled an hour to get there. But it went further and descended into random abuses, much of it racist. I was astounded. Not okay. No. Just, no.

We are of course disappointed to receive such a review. We have spoken to the person involved and we strongly urge you to remove your allegation of racism. The fact are simple: You originally booked your viewing for one morning, you then called up and spoke to our admin staff to push your viewing earlier, (this was only two hours before the viewing), our employee accidently double booked you at the same time as another viewing as she thought you were another person. We do take full responsibly for the double booking. Once you had arrived after we had realised, we had to inform you that the viewing could not happen. The negotiator apologised for wasting your time and wanted to help you. You then in turn, shouted at him in the middle of the street and was very rude. He then tried to calm the situation down and asked you what apartment you wanted to view and how much you could afford. It came to light that you actually couldn't afford the apartment you wanted to see and we had no alternatives for you. At no point was the negotiator was racist. We take these allegations very seriously and refused to take abuse from anyone who wants to do a viewing. It was a simple mistake and no reason for abuse.

GoogleMy wife and I agreed a purchase price on a property. We agreed the furniture /white goods that would be left/purchased by us. As we had agreed this, we advised our buyers that we would leave them our white goods and some furniture. Mcmahon and partners continued to market the property without making us aware of this, and we were gazumped. We now have our house sale in progress, have had to start looking for another house, and will be out of pocket as we will have to purchase new white goods as we will probably not be getting them in the sale any more. Since this, other estate agents I've spoken to agree this is very poor form. Buyers beware. It appears that they only care about their commission.

Thank you for putting into words your thoughts on our service and your experience. I appreciate that you are very disappointed about not being able to buy the house you had offered on. The best property always has more than one interested buyer, and you are correct, we do care about our service, but always remember who our client is, as it is our clients who make these decisions. After making the offer, you then mentioned that you could not complete until late January at the earliest, as the mortgage would take that long to sort out. Our clients reluctantly agreed to your offer, but were not happy with the timeframe. The only reason that we did not proceed with you as a buyer was that the alternative interested party were able to move quicker, did not need any finance, and were offering more than the existing offer that you had made & they had reluctantly agreed to. You did not do a survey, or spend any legal expenses, I believe. Ask yourself this, if tomorrow, your agent calls you with a bid on your property from a cash buyer, with nothing to sell, giving you several thousand pounds more than you were expected to be getting for your property, in a quicker timeframe What would you do? I might add, after two emails and two unanswered phone calls to your lawyer, without any response, as well as a similar response from your financial advisor, our conclusion was that we needed to continue to market in the best interest of our clients, as they are the people we report to. We were really just doing our job correctly, but we understand you were very disappointed, so I sincerely apologize for the significant inconvenience this has caused. Good luck with your search for a new home. If I have anything that I can find for you, I will let you know, I do not like upsetting people, and certainly there was no intention in doing this.
