I have just completed on the sale of my house which turned out to be complicated no fault of the agents. I found the team at Martyn Gerrard professional and respectful throughout the whole process beginning with Amanda who valued my home, providing good advice and giving me confidence to market the property when I believed it was depressed. Thank you Amanda.I especially want to thank Umit, who worked tirelessly throughout negotiating viewings and then providing excellent communication throughout the whole process of the sale. Umit is dedicated and has outstanding customer service skills; (in fact the whole team have excellent customer service skills) which goes along way through a stressful process.I would definitely recommend this estate agents for any customers thinking of buying and selling.Thank you Martyn Gerrard!

Sophie was incredible ! Since the very first moment we spoke on the phone she showed professionalism and efficiency. After hanging up the phone she sent me over lots of options for me to look at. I had really not much time to find a new place and Sophie has been a gift sent from I don't know where to us. Fantastic estate agents

I cannot praise the team at Martyn Gerrard high enough. Bruvis, Jamie and Alex were great from the start. Their communication is excellent, keeping me updated throughout the process. Jamie and Alex did the viewings for me and were always on time and respectful. Once the property went under offer Bruvis took over. He has communicated with me regularly and kept me up to date. He even took it upon himself to speak on several occasions to other estate agents and solicitors in the chain to find out the status of the sale. I couldn't have used a nicer group of people. They've all been so friendly. It's been a pleasure selling my home through them and I don't hesitate to recommend them.

I do not believe any positive feedback here. We communicated with this team for a year and a half and had only very negative impressions. They don't tell all the information to the client and cheated us out of more than £500 from the start, forcing us to take the keys when the apartment was not ready to move in. We were able to move in only after two weeks when they did the necessary repairs. They do not respond to letters and calls and have to write 3-4 requests until they give a completely unprofessional answer. We asked for a change of agent as Sophie was extremely incompetent, but it just got worse. I do not recommend anyone to contact this agency. They despise their customers.

Saddened by this service

I had had one valuation already of 535000 from another estate agent who sat down with me and discussed selling points, anything I had to tell him about my flat etc. He was very polite and focused on what was good about my property. Martin Gerard on the other hand, despite evaluating the same property type on my very same road at 535000, told me my flat was worth 500000, despite at least three rooms being significantly larger than the one they valued at 535000. They had had many viewings for the neighbour’s property and feedback was around the smaller sized rooms. Common sense prevailing, I would have thought my flat could have the same audience - and offer the larger sized rooms. There was no real interest in my home and in fact more questions were asked about the flat above me, that they were very excited about ! The process of a valuation can be quite personal - you are entering people’s homes and making comment, please consider people better and be consistent in your pricing of properties.

They don't listen to your brief and…

They don't listen to your brief and their tone is rude. Constant spamming with properties outside the criteria, and then they send you one thing that fits, only to tell you very rudely that they don't consider you as a serious buyer. Raj is particularly awful. It's fine to say "x and y stage might take you a few months, so we'll find some sellers for that timeline, but this particular property owner needs to sell faster" - but not just dismiss you out of hand with "I'll call you back in six months". Will not be using them!
