TrustpilotThe worst estate agents I have ever dealt with
As other posts say, estate agents are estate agents but my experience with Marsh and Parson has been awful. They will tell you barefaced lies to your face without even blinking an eye. They try and get you to spend money when you haven't even got a confirmed offer. When you want an update from them they go incommunicado on you - however they hunt you down like a dog when they want something from you. And lastly, they are plain rude when they don't hear want they want from you.

For various reasons it has been a lengthy and complicated sale, but Freddie has been so professional, responsive and determined in getting our sale through. He is always doing the very best he can for us and is incredible at keeping us informed and also 'nudging' everyone involved along to keep the process going. Moving house can be really stressful, but Freddie alleviates so much of that as we know we are in such good hands. He is truly the best estate agent we've ever worked with; he is honest, hardworking and quick to respond and advise us to guide us through the process. We have been dealing with Marsh & Parsons as renters for almost two years now and they are absolutely terrible. There is no urgency for any request even if it is something important such as the heating being broken for days, they seem completely incompetent at dealing with anything and have horrible communication. Our landlords are clearly frustrated with them but I'm sure it is a hassle to change. Avoid!!!!

GoogleWe signed with M&P when they first opened in this location, their team lead Stacey assured us that the market was good at the moment, we'd be seeing numerous viewings and a "promise" of offers in a matter of weeks. Once signing we heard nothing, repeatedly tried to contact and promised call backs. During the 4 months with them Freddie was only able to secure very few viewings, they had to be reminded details like that we had a parking space and garden access. We were assured there were many buyers just below our range, we dropped this on the promise of an open house with many viewings the following weekend. Suprise this never happened. We would have appreciated honesty from them on the current market state, instead of a continual request of dropping the price, which still led to no viewings at all. Once we'd handed our notice in, you'd hope that they'd make a last push but instead we had radio silence.

We found them (Charlie, Freddie and Beth) to be true to their word, of maintaining contact, something we had struggled with with other estate agents. They seemed to also hold true to the strategy they set out, of bringing buyers genuinely interested in the property as opposed to just getting numbers through the door. GooglePleasure dealing with Freddie and Charlie on the purchase of my first house. Buying on my own was quite daunting at the beggining but after one phonecall with Freddie I felt very well looked after and like i had someone on my team. I knew next to nothing abouts the start to finish process of buying a house but was guided every step of the way.
