He took control of the entire sale including dealing with all contractors needed to actually move out of the house. We leant on him completely for the entire process and appreciate the fact that he was so willing to ensure a smooth sale. GoogleMy family have been using Maalems for aprox 20 years to rent our home @ Leckford Rd, and then most recently to sell the property. I would highly recommend Maalems services. Over the years they have been very informative, helpful and a great source of support to my family going over and above many times and making things easy for us. We live oustide London and had relied on them for may things and they always provided help. Not may businesses operative this level of service they are truly one of kind. GoogleMaleems... Guys, this company sell you lies , so make sure that the property it comes with what they say in the add. I recently went for a view , add saying that it has allocated parking space , went over there and I asked the agent which one is my parking space, agent confirmed and showed me two bays and says “one of this two(which was occupied) but I have to double check with the landlord. All good, done the paperwork, and was waiting for the keys . Two days before I have to move in I have this email saying that “we scheduled for you to pick up the keys... Bla bla bla at the property” which triggered my mind that nobody said nothing about the parking . And I did emailed them to make sure they have been spoken to the landlord regarding my parking space . After doing the contract, paying them and giving my notice to my current address , this guys told me that “You need to call the council regarding the parking , as the property comes with no parking space “ . Totally rubbish , I demonstrate them that they advertise the add with allocated parking space , print screens and offer to the landlord , saying same thing . Thanks a lot Maleems , very professional , you let me HOMELESS! I should send you to court .. to pay accommodation until I find something to live ! GUYS PASS ON, FORGET THEM!
Dear Stefan Unfortunately, the landlord who had recently taken possession of this property did have a parking space but due to the owner of the adjoining piece of land beginning building works that encroached on to the landlord of your flat's land, the parking space became subject to a legal dispute. We regret that this happened and that it was beyond our control, however, we worked hard to find an alternative solution, apologized to you and offered to organize a parking space which was a four-minute walk from the front door of the property and offered to do this at our cost. We understand your frustration and wish to make it clear that we always endeavour to do our best and in this instance events unfolded beyond our control. GoogleMe and my partner booked in a viewing last week for this Wednesday at 9:45. Last night my partner looked online to have one more view of the property, however we found it was now off the market. I emailed last night to see what had happened and was emailed this morning to find out the day after we arranged a viewing the property had be sold and Maalems had failed to inform us of this. Me myself and our 6 week old baby would of been standing on the doorstop of this property none the wiser if my partner never looked again. Hi, We have looked into this for you. Your viewing was booked in for Wednesday 3rd June at 9:45 am. You would have been informed today (Tuesday 2nd June) that the property has been let. We always give as much notice as possible in these circumstances, and I would like to ensure you that you would not have been left standing on the doorstep. This is not how Maalems work. GoogleDo not trust Maalems. I went for a viewing recently at a rental property advertised by Maalems. They were initially very helpful, arranging a viewing for us at short notice - in fact I was the first to view the property. After the viewing I was discussing with the agent what the terms of the offers would be as there were multiple viewings that day. I was informed that all offers would be confidential and that the landlord would assess the offers at the end of the day. Hearing this, I decided to put in an offer right away, at slightly over the market value. Around 50 minutes later I was delighted to receive a call to say that the landlord liked our offer and that he was just going to check with his partner, but it was looking good for us at this stage. Roughly half an hour later, we received another call informing us that another offer had been made on the flat, we were told the exact offer amount and asked if we wanted to make a counter offer - a direct contradiction to how I was told the process would be carried out. When discussing this later on with the agent I was informed that they had decided to make an exception in our case and divulge the other parties offer because the agent had "liked me" when discussing the property. I highly doubt that a two minute conversation is enough for you to go against your company policy and if so, you need to rethink your policies. I wouldn't mind an open offer negotiation, but don't lie directly to your customers in the aim of increasing your commission by a few pounds - it's unethical and cruel and exactly the type of behaviour that gives your profession a bad name.

GoogleI have been a client of Maalems for 10 years , always finding a professional service provided by their letting agents. When deciding to sell I initially decided to stick with them , but after a while also decided to approach another agent, due to the agressive sales behaviour of the sales Director with Maalems. I provided notice of Sole Agency too Maalems. The sale has finally exchanged with the other Agents and now I'm being harrased by the Maalems for payment of a fee that should not go to them, and they have tried everything possible to Intimidate and even asking for payment from Solicitors dealing with the matter without any notification I have had to go to the Property Ombudsman because of intimidation. A shame they would treat a client of ten years this way.
Maalems take all feedback seriously and must note that we too are disappointed with how the relationship ended. Having investigated this individual case we too welcome TPO's involvement and await their decision.

GoogleI couldn't recommend Maalems more. The team are fantastic to work with and realistic with valuations unlike most agents who tell you what you want to hear. We used them to rent our property for 5 years followed by a successful and extremely stress free sale. Our flat was under offer less than 1 week after going on the market we got above asking for it! Best estate agent around!

GoogleFor the last 10 years I have been with Maalems in south London, and they have the best service I've ever had. Every time I had a problem with the flat (boiler broke, appliances etc..) they were quick to reply and solve it (most of the times the same day) or to coordinate with the landlady. It's refreshing to deal with a Estate Agents that make things so easy. Would recommend 10 out of 10 times.
