GoogleFaron Sutaria have exceeded my expectations. My flat was on the market for a few months, they found a buyer within a week of getting on board. All the way through to exchange of contracts, they kept me informed and updated of progress. Both Nadiye and Russell were always available to answer my queries or got back to me promptly, as helpful, professional and courteous as you could wish for. I highly recommend them.

RUN AWAY FROM THEM!I have lived in many flats in London and never have I experienced such a terrible process. First of all, we wrote down a formal offer with 1 only requirement. After our offer was accepted and we payed one week worth of rent to secure the place, they tell us that specific requirement cannot be met. They took almost 3 weeks to make the landlord sign our contract, and it was voided TWICE so we had to re-sign the contract 3 times in total as they kept adding clauses to it. During the move in, we realise the flat had not been cleaned (and the contract stated everything had to be professionally cleaned, even curtains and sofas.....) but the flat was in an appalling state really. We asked for it to be cleaned again and we are still waiting..... Not to say that we are still waiting for the landlord to pay the inventory. The people in this agency are very rude and will treat you bad. One advice, never use this agency!!!

I have had really good customer service from the team at John D Wood, especially Sardar and Camilla. Sardar swiftly arranged a viewing for me and he and Camilla were fantastic pushing things through so I could have a move in date within a week. Exceptional, especially with the move in date being 2 days before Christmas.Highly recommended!

As a tenant who has had John D Wood as my lettings management for the last 6 years I can say that they are absolutely awful. They don't reply to emails, don't take responsibility, don't put out of office emails on so you can't get anything urgent done. I would never use them.

I’ve called multiple times regarding a property and was repeatedly told I’d receive a call back either by end of day or the next working day. This has never happened. I even tried submitting an enquiry through Rightmove, but nothing would go through.

John D Wood owns APW, a lettings management company. Having raised a complaint against APW, I was, after a ridiculous amount of badgering, passed to John D Wood. Despite terrible reviews of APW already in place and after providing (several times) a list of 14 significant issues, I was informed they had done nothing wrong. Well, if the service (or lack thereof) I received was ‘fine’, goodness knows what this company thinks is poor service. Absolutely dreadful experience. I share another reviewer's frustration when they said they'd rather give their house away than use these guys again. Truly awful. Please don't use them.

Unprofessional, non-responsive and DO NOT return deposits timely I had a problem slumlord with endless defects in the flat at 4100 a month. Landlord used JDW chelsea/earls court to manage the property. The pod never responded to email to fix anything. After 6 months we agreed to leave and pay less rent. The kid and his colleagues delayed releasing £4700 deposit for 18 days after moving out using any and all excuses until I threatened to file a dispute! Buyer be ware.

Terrible, terrible, terrible.John D Wood Richmond Branch is a nightmare. They are trying to charge for the damages which they were before the tenancy started. Although the first inspection report clearly proves that the damages were there before we enter the house, they still keep trying to charge it.For your sake, I strongly recommend you avoid them.

FS Chelsea recognises the value of these reviews and agents (perhaps not all?) directly plead clients to write positive reviews once they have your business lined up. Be aware the aggregated score you see is not truly reflective of their reputation. My personal experience with them was incredibly frustrating. Endless incompetency, under delivered on expectations, and constant battle to make things right. From check-in to, throughout the lease, to well after check-out. The one-star is the most I could offer, but the real reason for this review is a heads up on the other reviews.

GoogleI registered what I was looking for to let in London. I gave them my budget and the location I was looking to let in. They bombarded me with emails for properties that were hundreds of pounds over my budget and also in entirely different areas that I did not want to live in. Every time I told them what I was looking for, I was ignored and sent more expensive properties miles from where I was looking. After deciding to stop looking for properties through this company they continued to send me emails every day despite being told several times not to.

While it may work for some, I found the approach and behaviour of the Wandsworth JDW sales team truly abhorrent. Their wrongdoings range from the way they spoke to my husband and I right through to their sales and negotiation tactics. They frequently made (incorrect) assumptions and comments about our lifestyle and finances and throughout the purchase tried to belittle and patronise us so we followed their instructions rather than listened to our solicitor. They nothing short of used intimidation tactics and baseless threats to make us jump for their every wish. They lied in the details of selling the house, both in writing and verbally; accepted offers but broke the terms of the offers with no communication or regard that this was incorrect behaviour; and when we were finally at the end of negotiations and all paperwork ready to exchange and complete, they started upon new tales and demands trying to threaten the chain breaking if we did not comply. We’ve fed back directly to the agents involved and while sales behaviours are a common part of society, we both felt this was way over the line of acceptable behaviour. In this area of London, with this amount of money being spent in such a lovely community and neighbourhood, my husband and I were truly appalled by their style and have never come across other agents like it. We won’t be using them in the future and sadly, even if it is just this branch, our trust in the whole JDW organisation has been tainted by this truly stressful and frankly bullying experience. I can only hope our feedback is considered and agents reflect upon their handling so they do not continue to treat people this way.

GoogleFaron Sutaria has been great in helping us finding our lovely new flat. Specially Keelie, who has been unconditionally helpful and supportive in the search. She has focused on our preferences and came up with several excellent options that helped us making the decision. I would recommend Faron Sutaria and Keelie for anyone willing to move around Victoria area and the service was brilliant.
