Laura and her team in the Chiswick Rental offices went the extra mile in advising us on every aspect of finding a new tenant for our property including help with plumbers, decorators and removals and most importantly in finding us a good selection of prospective new tenants to choose from. A very hands on operation with excellent customer service and support.

I'd like to thank the whole team at John D Wood in South Kensington and in particular Umar and Angelo for introducing a buyer and working together with all parties (solicitors, managing agents, freeholders, buyer and vendor) in a friendly, personalised and dedicated way from start to finish. Although the whole process - from offer and sales memorandum till exchange of contracts and completion of the sale at the agreed price - took approximately 12 weeks, Umar and Angelo have always kept me informed of every single step towards achieving a successful sale. It was often just a text or quick phone call - even on a Sunday - which kept me motivated throughout the process. I believe that with John D Wood I have been in very good hands and would therefore highly recommend them.

They are the worst letting agent we’ve ever dealt with, do not rent or buy with this company, complete incompetence at all levels of management. They will cost you money, time, stress & potentially your health, it is not worth it! When we moved out we also recieved our deposit back in full just for clarity. (Though it took much longer than it should have)

We have recently had to move during COVID. It was incredibly stressful and made worse when we found ourselves unable to access our deposit back through no fault of our own. At first I was not happy with the responses I was getting until Rupert Simmonds stepped in. He went above and beyond to cut through red tape and help us to get our deposit back in full. Rupert is a credit to John D Wood!

Really bad when it comes to services. My deposit is stuck with them for more than 2 months. Always some lame excuse for not paying back. There is an property manager named Moesha, who will never address any query but will just be harsh I hope to give below 1 star but that the least i can go.

GoogleOverall I had a reasonably good experience with John D Wood although the information given about the property was somewhat lacking. I expect this is because the property was only being let out by the landlord for the first time. Millie Finch was our negotiator, whom I found to be charming and very pleasant to deal with. She was however quite pushy in making the sale, which I found just a tad off-putting.

Claire has been excellent in helping us find a rental properly from abroad. She was super flexible with our requirements and timing and always kept us in the loop once we found the property. She did an extra video viewing and asked many questions to current tenants on our behalf. I would highly recommend Claire and her team and if were to rent again would definitely use them!

I have a property which is fully managed by JohnDWoods , they couldn't renew my contract due to sick leave of their employee , they cant solve my problem I have to reach to tenant by myself and trying to solve the issues , 20 days pasts the contract end date .

This company make an appearance of disorganization, but could not possible stay in business, if they were, indeed, as disorganized as they appear. Having managed to fend me off for three days whilst I was house-hunting in France; I finally found that the gem of a house I had found - in Perpignan - was taken off the market; in order that it could be purchased by a relative of one of the partners/directors of John D Wood. Worse than inefficient and unprofessional ... very close to fraudulent! DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!

In particular Souhail Matrane who made all the communications between the parties extremely easy. Faron Sutaria acted in the same manner as when I sold and bought through them 20 + years ago. I would recommend them to anyone wishing to let, sell or buy their home. The team is professional and has outstanding local knowledge and understanding of the property market. Great customer service. I rented a property which was managed by this company. The agents made promises they did not meet and the management agents are extremely poor. There was a flood and the information provided by the company turned out to be in accurate so they have refused to reimburse me for the hotel and all costs. I have had to instruct my lawyers to start a court process.

GoogleI had my move managed by Keelie and from the start Keelie was very accommodating and friendly, with a nice personality and very helpful. The apartment I moved in to is beautiful but it had tenants before me who left a lot of possessions and the walls needed repainting, the process has been handled professionally and very easily. Keelie has been on the phone and accessible the entire time to speed up the painting and clearing out of the apartment and I'm very pleased with the ease of communication being able to contact and have things dealt with very quickly is a blessing when moving home. Overall a great experience Keelie was my point of contact and emails coming from Laura and other staff at the estate agents all around great experience and less stressful than it could have been if a different agency was involved.

It said, “If you would like to arrange a no-obligation market appraisal, please do not hesitate to get in touch..” I rang the office and made an appointment for the 7th of March. I was clear that I was not putting the house on the market right now.

If I could give zero I will! Awful experience starting from when they gave me the keys and then literally disappeared! Then the inventory was totally different from what I found in the house and when I contacted them they said contact the landlord we can’t do anything! Glad that the landlord was cooperative.Now after leaving the house it took them 10 days to send me the inventory checkout and I called them everyday and they gave a different story every day! Now I have been chasing the deposit for 1 month! Literally awful experience, avoid at any cost.
