I rented a property which was managed by this company. The agents made promises they did not meet and the management agents are extremely poor. There was a flood and the information provided by the company turned out to be in accurate so they have refused to reimburse me for the hotel and all costs. I have had to instruct my lawyers to start a court process.

GoogleI was extremely pleased with how John D Wood managed the sale of my house in Southfields. Jonathon Loney's advice and insight into the housing market was spot-on and invaluable. Once the sale had been made Sharon Byrne took over the reins in what was a particularly fraught chain. Sharon was communicative and caring and I felt I was properly supported throughout the process. I would recommend John D Wood to anyone else looking to buy or sell in the Southfields area.

GoogleJohn D Wood greatly helped myself and my girlfriend when we were searching for a flat as part of our move down to London. We are from a long way out of the area, and dealing with Chelsea Smith was an absolute pleasure and extremely helpful in terms of the information and details of the area we were able to gain. While helping us with finding a flat, she also offered us friendly reassurance and advice about making the move down to London. Unfortunately we did not end up letting from John D Wood in Southfields, but that was nothing to do with the quality of service or price, simply that we opted for a different area. We would very much recommend them, and would definitely pay another visit in the future should we be looking for properties in the area.

GoogleOur experience of finding a flat with John D Wood was seamless from start to finish. Though the property we originally enquired about was unavailable, Jessica was intuitive enough to show me another property that ended up being exactly what we wanted. She was personable and professional through the entire process, from viewing to negotiation to paperwork. The paperwork even came through three days earlier than anticipated! John D Wood actually turned a process we were dreading (thanks to previous experiences with other estate agents) into an enjoyable transaction. GoogleWe recently used John D Wood's services in our rent a flat hunt. All their staff are really nice, but Jessica Richards is the one that made it happen for us. Always with a smile on her face, personable and ready to attend to all small details and queries that you might have. And in our case we had a load of them. So if you have decided to use this agent's services, at the cost they come, I would strongly recommend to contact Jessica.

GoogleWe started looking for a flat to rent back in June and the lettings team at John D Wood were very helpful in finding us suitable properties to view, often as soon as they came to the market and explaining everything we would need to do as tenants to move in quickly. Niki was particularly good. Although we found a house with a different agent, John D Wood lettings have much better customer service and care. I would recommend!

It said, “If you would like to arrange a no-obligation market appraisal, please do not hesitate to get in touch..” I rang the office and made an appointment for the 7th of March. I was clear that I was not putting the house on the market right now.

If I could give zero I will! Awful experience starting from when they gave me the keys and then literally disappeared! Then the inventory was totally different from what I found in the house and when I contacted them they said contact the landlord we can’t do anything! Glad that the landlord was cooperative.Now after leaving the house it took them 10 days to send me the inventory checkout and I called them everyday and they gave a different story every day! Now I have been chasing the deposit for 1 month! Literally awful experience, avoid at any cost.

RUN AWAY FROM THEM!I have lived in many flats in London and never have I experienced such a terrible process. First of all, we wrote down a formal offer with 1 only requirement. After our offer was accepted and we payed one week worth of rent to secure the place, they tell us that specific requirement cannot be met. They took almost 3 weeks to make the landlord sign our contract, and it was voided TWICE so we had to re-sign the contract 3 times in total as they kept adding clauses to it. During the move in, we realise the flat had not been cleaned (and the contract stated everything had to be professionally cleaned, even curtains and sofas.....) but the flat was in an appalling state really. We asked for it to be cleaned again and we are still waiting..... Not to say that we are still waiting for the landlord to pay the inventory. The people in this agency are very rude and will treat you bad. One advice, never use this agency!!!

I have had really good customer service from the team at John D Wood, especially Sardar and Camilla. Sardar swiftly arranged a viewing for me and he and Camilla were fantastic pushing things through so I could have a move in date within a week. Exceptional, especially with the move in date being 2 days before Christmas.Highly recommended!

As a tenant who has had John D Wood as my lettings management for the last 6 years I can say that they are absolutely awful. They don't reply to emails, don't take responsibility, don't put out of office emails on so you can't get anything urgent done. I would never use them.
