GoogleGood to start with but I didn’t have a good experience with them. I recommend if you request any change in contract and thing like cleaning or parking, ask them to give in writing BEFORE you pay the deposit or sign the contract otherwise they are unprofessional enough to offer you to loose your deposit for it. And good luck chasing them after the contract is signed!

GoogleI dealt with a couple of estate agents here, who at first dealt with me very well. Unfortunately as we progressed with an offer, I was left with radio silence, continued unreasonable attempts to raise the sale price, and the agents not answering questions, pushing me into an unfavourable position. Overall a disappointing service from a well renowned Estate Agent.

Our experience has been first class and the JDW service was highly professional right from the start - realistic estimate of house value, knowledge of the local market and how to maximise our sale price and managing our anxieties and expectations throughout the whole lengthy process to completion. The team were always professional, responsive and friendly and definitely worked hard to help us achieve our sale. They managed everything - EPC, flattering professional photographs included as part of the service, all the very many viewings, right through to chasing solicitors and other parties all along the chain to achieve completion. Claire Carter (based at the Weybridge branch) handled my purchase from start to finish and was exceedingly efficient. I was on a very tight timeline yet she saw no reason as to why we could not complete on time and she held true to her word. She chased deadlines when needs be and kept me informed immediately of any requests for information or any news.I never had to chase her for an answer to any question I had and I hugely appreciated her transparency throughout the process. I cannot recommend her and the agency enough.

I rented a property that was part managed by John D Wood. The service was just awful - whenever we wanted something done with any urgency, they never responded. As soon as they wanted something, we'd receive really abrupt and quite rude emails demanding that we respond immediately. The tone of all staff was rude and often accusatory. I still have no idea what the landlord paid them for as they didn't manage the property as we dealt with all the maintenance issues.
