I would just like to thank Ken and his team for the wonderful work they did, in helping my fiance and I successfully get our new home, to which we are very happy with. I couldn't recommend James Alexander enough, they are very efficient in the work they carry out and are always willing to guide you in the purchase of in our case our first property, to which we are very thankful for. To top it off when the competion took place and I went to pick up the keys, Ken presented me with a congratulatory bottle of wine which served as a gift from James Aexander. The worst estate agents ever!!! doing a viewing a moving was all nice and easy. However after a couple of months we had a few issues within the property, we followed there steps to complain about any problem via there website ect. We still didn't get no response and nothing was being done about the issue. Then i used to call to follow up on request made about the issues yet nothing was being done about it. Having a new born baby with dampness in the flat, windows handles broken, so i couldn't open the windows for ventilation. it was ridiculous. Also, they would tell me that they have spoken to the landlord and are waiting for them to communicate back to them. They also gave the impression to landlord that we were horrible and rude people, as eventually the landlord came to property and met us, and told us that Ken said we were like. When we questioned the landlord regarding the issued and showed him around, he was unware of these problems. However we have moved out and the landlord has left this agency to and moved to someone else. But i must say they were very efficient in ringing and asking for rent!! which i still paid on time regardless the issued not being sorted out!

I would highly recommend the team at James Alexander when buying in Norbury. They know the area well, and with lots of local business, it meant that although I was in a chain the team were managing the onward purchase of the vendors. This meant they were well informed of any delays or issues in the chain and could raise them early. From offer accepted to completed was 10 weeks. I completed a couple of days before the end of the stamp duty holiday window. This wouldn't have happened without the support of the team in James Alexander.

My wife reached out to Ken for advice after seeing him on Homes under the Hammer. My wife had several lengthy conversations about the housing market, stamp duty, renting out our property, you name it and Ken had time for it all. It was never under the assumption we would do anything, it was more just weighing up our options. Ken has provided invaluable advice and is a real, genuine person with years of expertise in Norbury and housing in general. After a month or so we reached out to Ken to sell our house and what a smooth service they have provided. Ken had Jack manage the sale who has been brilliant. Jack has clearly learnt well from Ken and was able to answer all our queries and concerns and on the odd occasion reassure us when couldn't see the wood through the trees. We have never felt like a number to them and they have been incredibly personable. In a industry saturated with some very unsavoury people and companies, James Alexander are head and shoulders the best Estate Agent we've dealt with.

Caroline was an absolute star from the start to finish of the purchase of our first property. It proved to be quite a difficult conveyance for a number of external reasons, nonetheless Caroline remained proactive and was happy to chase the relevant parties whenever necessary (it was often necessary), which made it a lot easier for us. I won’t recommend this agency!!! My husband and I we both gave deposit signed the contract and after we sighed and gave the deposit he was telling that the landlord changes he’s mind so now we are out of the flat with no deposit from our last flat because we gave notice to our old agents that we are moving!! If it would be 0 stars I would put 0!! I recommend you to go for pk property the agency is safe and there are no scams or anything! They are honest and care about your money!!

We were so glad to be purchasing a house that was on the market with James Alexander - I genuinely don’t think we would have made it without the wonderful help and assistance given by Ken and Caroline. We were impressed when we viewed properties initially as in comparison to other local agents, Ken and Caroline seemed knowledgeable on the local area and just genuine people who cared about the home we were looking to purchase (as well as showing care and respect for the housing they were showing us around). As first time buyers we were new to everything and felt like we were muddling our way through the process (rather slowly given the stamp duty holiday too). However Ken and Caroline really helped us along and made the process as smooth and simple as possible. They were clear and communicative, always giving us regular updates and information - giving us such peace of mind and confidence on such a significant purchase.
