There is a spacious and well-proportioned place in hell for estate agents. But when Georgina from Jackson-Stops & Staff arrives they should turn down the thermostat a few notches. She was consistently respectful, responsive and friendly. And, as a tenant, JSS are less of a rip-off than other agents. Sure, it's >£100 to print a standardised contract, etc. but all-in-all this was probably the most cost-effective agency arrangement I've had since moving to London.

In a very competitive rental market, we were struggling to find a suitable property, so were very fortunate to meet and have the support of Will Dodds when we dropped into Jackson-Stops in Pimlico. We sought the assistance of several estate agents from Pimlico to Fulham with very little response, however Will genuinely took the time to understand what we were looking for, and literally dropped everything on the day to show me a property that he realised would meet our requirements, which we have since leased. Superior Customer Service

Jackson-Stops and namely ‘Harriet’ in the Pimlico office provided an excellent service throughout. Even though we were all working together from a distance due to international travel and commitments, Harriet was always present, extremely professional and thoroughly diligent throughout the process. We had such a good experience with Jackson-Stops. From our first viewing of the property the agent gave really good advice about how and when to proceed with an offer. It took us a few months to sell our property but the agent kept regularly in touch with us during this period which was really reassuring. When we were able to negotiate the agent gave more really good advice which allowed us to make an offer that secured the property. During the legal phase the agent kept us up to date and acted as an effective link between seller/solicitor and us. We can't fault the service that Jackson-Stops provided and would recommend them without hesitation.

Unfortunately, after living in a Jackston Stops-run flat for >1 year now, I would not recommend them to anyone. While their agents may be great at helping you find a flat, their maintenance team is a disaster. They take weeks to solve issues to critical services (e.g. heating, laundry, etc.) and don't compensate you for any damages or incurred expenses as a result. When you ask for updates, they give you passive aggressive vague communication without clear next steps.
