I had never used Jackson Stopps before but was well impressed by the way they went about giving me a valuation of a flat I was selling. Some 30+ years ago I had worked some 18 years in property, first as an estate agent, and then as a land buyer for development companies. Alice Creighton from Jackson - Stops visited my property last month, she was on time , polite and professional . Alice accompanied me around the property and listened to the problems I had . I felt very supported as she took photos and listened. After Alice’s visit I was quickly contacted by the relevant professionals to complete the works, I was really impressed at how quickly this was arranged . I had to contact Alice a few times with a couple of queries over the past few weeks and her reply has always been quick and informative, and minor problems solved instantly .I’m very impressed with the service that Alice provided , and feel secure that any future issues dealt with just as efficiently.

Sadly 1 star. My experience with them is they are dishonest and will work within legal frameworks whilst lying to you. Bought a non primary residence in the Cotswolds with them recently, was told the oven was an everhot.. it’s not, it’s a smeg. Was told the property had previously been under offer at the same price.. it hadn’t, it was 150k lower, found out through severe googling this week. Was told the house had been surveyed and ready to go (we of course carried out our own) and lots of issues came up they knew about and didn’t flag. MOST ashamedly, they accepted out of asking and then AFTER doing all of the background checks and mortgage offer etc etc etc they told us that the house had an outstanding land issue (known about by them months before offer was made) that required hundreds of thousands of pounds to be paid to resolve and had no immediate timeline.
