Best estate agents experience ever!

Jackson-Stops have recently sold our house for us and we downsized to a bungalow, also through them. They were so helpful every step of the way. We dealt with Rebecca, Chris and in the later stages Pip who helped us by chasing solicitors and ensuring the process worked as it should, after our solicitors closed their local office and enabling us to sign and have our contracts witnessed in their Reigate office. A fantastic team of people, highly recommended!

We sold our house through the Jackson-Stops, Bury St Edmunds office. We knew the staff there from the original purchase of the property and were so pleased with that experience that we chose them for the recent sale. The team in Bury St Edmunds were effective from day one. The marketing material was well thought out and very professional. The task of showing potential purchasers around the house, answering their questions and working with us to keep them well informed worked very well. As exchange and, ultimately, completion days came and went, the team shifted up a gear and it all happened in a blink of an eye. Working with Jackson-Stops was a pleasure, a 5-star experience. Buying a home can be a stressful experience, but Louise, Rebecca, and the entire team at Jackson-Stops made the process as smooth and enjoyable as possible. From the very beginning through to completion, they were with me every step of the way, offering guidance, reassurance, and exceptional support. Communication was absolutely top-tier. I was always kept informed, questions were answered promptly, and I genuinely felt like they cared about making the experience a positive one. Poor service

Asked to view a property on Bures Road and was told I had to provide proof of funds before even being allowed a viewing. I understand proof of funds is needed at offer stage but demanding it just to view a house is unnecessary and comes across as rude and intrusive; the tone felt more like an interrogation. And for clarity, questioning an asking price is not the same as being unable to afford a property. In a previous transaction, we declined to overpay for a house we did not believe was worth its asking price, and it later sold for significantly less. That is a valuation judgement (a mistake by the same agent), not a funding issue.

Jackson-Stops, Cranbrook Branch recently sold my house. They were brilliant, helpful and great with communication which is rare these days. Rachel with whom I dealt with was lovely, so friendly and so patient with all the endless calls I made. They say selling your home is one of the most stressful things you can go through. Its no easy ride but I can only say that Jackson-Stops made it as easy and calm as it could be. I cannot recommend them highly enough. If you live in Kent and you want to sell your house, they are your go to agent. Brilliant. If Trustpilot had 10 stars to hand out, then that is what I would give Alastair and his great team in Cranbrook.

Harry and the team were extremely helpful and knowledgeable throughout the process. They suggested a sound strategy for listing and presenting the property and then were hands on with viewings, engagement with prospective buyers and then the actual sales process. Their proximity to the Pimlico grid makes all of this so much easier as they can solve a lot of problems by heading quickly to the property on foot when needed. I started my rental experience with Jackson Stops Pimlico on September 24th for a 1-bedroom apartment with my gf, so it’s been exactly a month now. The viewing process before confirming the rental was smooth. We just decided on the same day we viewed to rent the property and the confirmation from the agent/landlord was also prompt. Although there was a slight delay during the contract signing process due to some temporary difficulties reaching the landlord, Georgia from Jackson-stops handled it professionally, giving us an estimated resolution time and having promptly reached the landlord. We so far have worked with both Alex and Georgia during the rental process, and they were highly professional and very kind. They also gave us timely advice on setting up utilities like water and electricity. Afterward, we were introduced to a property management team as our day-to-day contacts, who have also been very helpful. Martina has been great with our communication and helped with various stuff including the not-functioning microwave. We look forward to having a great rental experience over the next year and hope any issues that arise will continue to be addressed as promptly as they have been in these first two weeks!
