I couldn’t recommend Louise and the team at Horton & Garton enough. After a below par experience with another company, Louise took over our sale and completely turned out sale around in a short space of time. We had a complicated probate situation within a chain, and Louise ensured we were kept in the loop and was always proactive to ensure any issue/actions that needed resolution were jumped on immediately. At points, as with many sales, the situation became pretty stressful, however, Louise and the team bent over backwards to make sure we were informed, and to be honest had to be our therapist! Louise and the team continuously went beyond their remit to keep the process moving as smoothly as possible and continued to do so even after the contracts had been resolved. You don’t get passed around a random group of agents, you get an experienced, knowledgeable contact, who sticks with you and the support of an informed team. 20 out of 10. Thanks very much!

We were recommended to use Horton and Garton by our friends who bought through them last year and we were not disappointed. Louise, Karen and John Horton himself were all an absolute joy to deal with. We have just completed on our dream family home thanks to them. John assured us from the outset that they are not a gazumping agent and he stood true to his word when someone tried to come in very late on in the process. It is so nice to deal with honest and open estate agents. We will be forever grateful. Louise and Kay were so kind when we had countless surveys and contractors looking for access. They never complained when making the property available for yet another visit and were always incredibly patient when waiting around to lock up. We would use the team again without hesitation. From viewings to completion they were incredible and they even surprised us with a bottle of Prosecco and lovely candle when we picked up the keys - they think of everything! Thank you, thank you!

Paul and his team were recommended to us by some neighbours whose house he had quickly and successfully sold last spring. However, having attempted to sell our property in 2016 and 2017 without luck after being very poorly advised by a number of local estate agents, it was with some trepidation when we decided to enter the market again in August of last year. Our fears proved to be utterly unfounded and the process could not have run more smoothly. We found Paul’s honesty, transparency and personal touch very refreshing and in stark contrast to our experience with the larger, more traditional estate agents in the area. Paul is a fantastic estate agent. He's professional, responsive and acts really well as the middle person between the buyer and seller. What I particularly liked about Paul was his honesty and keeping every party in the loop. He tried to keep the best interest in both the buyer and seller. I had viewed a lot of properties with a lot of different estate agents, and I can say that Paul and his team are by far the best estate agents I dealt with. Finally, I also had feedback from my solicitor about Paul. She has been a solicitor for 3 years and said she had never dealt with an estate agent like Paul. All the others are so pushy and rude. Whereas Paul was neither of these and whenever he contacted my solicitor, it was to get an update and see if there was anything he could do to help out.
