I had a very good experience renting a property with Tilley from haart. She was helpful throughout the entire process, always available to answer any questions I had, no matter how small. Tilley also assisted with negotiating terms with the landlord, which made things easier for me. After dealing with various agencies in London, I wasn’t expecting much, but working with Tilley showed that there are still honest and professional agents around. I recently began my search for accommodation in East London and came across Haart Estate and Lettings Agents. We vacated our property towards the latter end of January and six weeks on we have yet to receive our deposit or receive any indication of when the issue will be resolved. The service from Haart has been absolutely diabolical. Extremely limited communication and no understanding that we are nearly 2K out of pocket. There’s been excuses after excuses - report not being done, staff leaving etc but no solution or timeline. Elisa has been “forwarding” our email to the property management team for weeks but there doesn’t seem to be any communication forthcoming from them. They are a bunch of cowboys who have no regard for people’s money. We are now considering next steps and will be making a formal complaint and consulting the Ombudsman.
