Harassment
I moved into this apartment complex 2 weeks ago after escaping very extreme domestic violence, legal abuse, litigation abuse, extortion, and high level coercive control by my ex who is an attorney.

Greystar ruins good complexes
Greystar ruins good complexes. Broken payment portal, mystery utility charges, ghost office, ignored emails. Took over without notice, I'd have left. Run from Greystar. BBB complaint filed. Not recommended.

Comfortable living with professional management
I was impressed by the quality of the apartment and how well everything is maintained. Greystar’s property management team were responsive and professional whenever I had a query. It genuinely feels like they care about providing a good living experience.

NEVER rent from greystar
we had an absolutely HORRIBLE experience with greystar. i'd leave zero stars if i could. we received a bill for $1400 in fraudulent move out charges, and greystar could not provide photo evidence or receipts to match the "damage". in the process of disputing our bill, they sent us a new bill and added a $163 cleaning fee. it felt like they were trying to squeeze as much money from us as possible. the greystar representative, teresa, was extremely slow to respond to emails, and upon calling her, she was incredibly rude, angry, and unprofessional from the moment she answered the phone. this is the worst customer experience i've ever had and i will NEVER rent from a greystar property again. if you are considering renting at nine15, i would highly recommend looking elsewhere. there are thousands of reviews online from other tenants who have been scammed by greystar - listen to them

I've been a disabled tenant at Alexan NoHo West for almost 10 months, and this has been one of the most exhausting experiences of my life. I have a spinal cord injury, neurological symptoms, fatigue and anxiety, and I rely on a service dog.

Rude, pushy, manipulative and dishonest
I've unfortunately been a tenant of Greystar Property Management for many years. In over four years of residency, the only positive spot is the superb on-site maintenance staff.I'm a severely disabled veteran, and due to the incompetence and mismanagement and probable collusion of My ODVA Fiduciary and Greystar, I've had the dubious and unwanted privilege and notoriety of rent and utilities paid late, late fees, utilitydisconnects, and actual eviction notices.I know of no one who could in good faith and conscience recommend this leasing company.

After promised payment never arrived
After promised payment never arrived, lies upon lies it is now effecting my family’s health including my heart and their well being. Including two young children stressed and no money for groceries.Blocking us from moving in to Arborlada causing money loss, cancelling movers, missing work, to collecting all monies from us even though we were not approved. All monies promised back to us a month ago.Suddenly refund could not go to back to method we used that a manager would call us which she did and stated she would call the next day if she missed us. Called back same day while working no answer and was never called back. We then are emailed stating check would be expedited sent October 8th told this a couple of times I’m sorry a month is not expedited and the staff knew that was our only money to get moved into a new place.Last weekend we get an spammy unsolicited email saying it’s an Arborlada refund? No warning to what this is so we deleted it as we were told a check was mailed. We then call the company on email and told yes it was a refund and legit. We open the email they sent to find a refund for $300 and not what they took out of my bank account totaling $500. We desperately need that money but did not accept it as it’s incorrect.Since holding our money we were forced myself being disabled and have a heart condition, my wife has a broken leg and ankle we moved us our self because our money we paid was never expedited or given back. All the stress they put on our family I already thought was enough but because of direct involvement in holding our money we now are dealing with more pain and both suffering because of it. My doctor is recommending surgery again because something I lifted during the move has caused more damage, same with my wife possible repair because of the strenuous work she was also forced to do with no refund.Never in our life have we been put through something like this with no regard to our feelings, our suffering or well being.

I could give this community less than a one I would - looking to get out of the west and you’re looking to go somewhere nice in the south this community is not where you wanna be.Horrible horrible horrible - absolutely no level of customer service of any kind. God Forbid the community finds out they might want to take vengeance against for filing this complaint. Talk about being afraid for your rights and your legal well-being & every morning you wake up and Cars are on milk crates

Poor training of Personnel - Abuse of power!!!
Greystar, Inc. apartment management teams are untrained in civil rights of residents, appropriate and professional communication skills, management staff awareness/knowledge of the situations and problems in the complexes they manage, consequences when their Property Managers have screaming tirades against senior residents in front of other residents and staff, etc...

I was at Leander Junction apartments and it was turned over to Greystar management
I was at Leander Junction apartments on Ronald Reagan. After numerous management company changes I left when my lease was up. They did not provide me with 60 day renewal notice. I reminded them of this so they said they would not pursue, but I needed to be out by March 14, 2022. Now in 2024 they have a collection agency trying to collect unpaid fictitious charges. Electric ( I had PEC) and that is who I paid. Now they say I owe for trash, pest control and other charges from 2021. I demanded they send me a print out of each and every rental invoice and my payment to the complex. They have failed to do so. I got a call from Genesis collections. I sent them a dispute email along with their list of fictitious and fraudulent charges I was disputing. If, I did not pay these charges ( they were included in my monthly invoice) I would have been advised of it and evicted. They refuse to send me all of this documentation.

Smoke infested crap hole of a building…
Smoke infested crap hole of a building with management who never answers concerns or complaints. Was forced to break the lease because I have a lung condition and the fact no one would do anything about he excessive cigarette smoking in the building. Gave them 60 days notice - while I lived with friends because I could not live there - and only two months AFTER I moved did they decide (without a conversation or notification) that they wanted another 2 months of rent. THEY BREACHED THE LEASE, not me. I signed a lease for a smoke free building and it was like living inside an ashtray. I have taken them to court, I have the NYS Attorney General investigating them. If you lived there, you should the same - it's easy to open a case online.

We put a $500 deposit down on June 19th. We let them know the same day we would not be renting from them. Requested our refund 3 times. Still have not heard back. It's been over a month now. Will NEVER rent from them ever.

An unauthorized withdrawal
An unauthorized withdrawal was made to my bank account during the month of September. I have already paid my September's rent earlier and the earlier payment was recorded on my payment record. The bank and the office stated nothing can be done. My bank changed their mind and honored my stop payment on the unauthorized withdrawal. Dalian Monterey Village charged me an $100 NSF FEE.

DO NOT DEAL ON THIS COMPANY
I rarely leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience with the Adagio apartment complex and the management company, Graystar. Unfortunately, I can't even give them a one-star rating. Their services and promises are unbelievable.
