TrustpilotReally no star
Really no starThis company basically collects your rent and does maintenance. They only give you a text number, not a phone number. There is never anyone covering the front desk. Even if they put a sign up saying they are away from the desk , they have no coverage. The only time they are in sight is when they are taking a tour around. Your contact method is by text only, which they usually do not answer. DO NOT MOVE HERE. It looks pretty, but it is hollow inside . Once you are here it is costly to move out, so you are stuck

TrustpilotImprint Apartments Supports Scientology
I have recently found out that the owners and management of Imprint support the Church of Scientology. The Cult of Scientology has committed many crimes against humanity. They are involved in Human Trafficking, Child and Elder Abuse, Family Disconnection, and Financial Fraud. On March 3rd, 2024, Scientology opened its new Ideal Org in Printer's Row. The management of Imprint threatened a tenant with trespass if they allowed a known Scientology protester to enter the building. First off to think a company that you pay a monthly fee to would threaten you with trespass is horrid enough, but to side with the Church of Scientology is despicable. I stand for humanity and refuse to rent from anyone who would support such crimes.

TrustpilotAVOID ALL GREYSTAR-MANAGED properties
0 Star RATING: AVOID ALL GREYSTAR-MANAGED properties. Several negative complaints posted about Everleigh Short Pump 55+. We have rented for awhile at Everleigh Short Pump 55+ Apt Homes Community & the services & attentiveness to us have greatly deteriorated. Management staff has changed a couple of times & the current management team are a group of emotionally-immature, young, highly defensive, passive-aggressive draconian style team members who manage Everleigh Short Pump Greystar in Richmond’s West End. The Property Manager has been highly unprofessional & turns a blind eye to complaints about her staff members. In addition, our VALUES DO NOT MATCH those of Everleigh Short Pump Greystar’s Management Team! They have created a toxic environment at Everleigh Short Pump & have been engaging in micromanaging & controlling residents especially ours when food is brought out to the Clubhouse for residents. Greystar engages in MARKETING SCAMS. The property is beautiful inside & outside but DO NOT BE TAKEN ON NOR FOOLED BY these features! Awful deceitful intolerant Management Staff. No cameras in management offices. NO CAMERAS IN ANY OF THE COMMON AREAS NOR STAIRWELLS. They practice favoritism when it comes to attentiveness & helpfulness & services to residents. Discriminate if residents’ personalities upsets them & then avoids & ignores these residents’ concerns. Leasing Agent started out great & but started to disengage from certain residents whom she disliked due to complaints against her! Do NOT TRUST ANYONE IN EVERLEIGH SHORT PUMP MANAGEMENT OFFICE! They engage in gaslighting residents when confronted with residents’ complaints about staff members.Property Manager refuses to intervene in tenant-tenant harassment as well. The new Assistant Manager makes excuses for staff members when complaints about their attitudes are voiced to her. Very unprofessional! They have each other’s backs but NOT ALL the residents’ backs!Tenants are afraid to complain to management office as some staff members are aggressive & engage in intimidation tactics. Complaining to the Everleigh Short Pump Management Team HAS TURNED OUT TO BE INEFFECTIVE FOR US! They only make excuses for staff & HAVE TOLD US THEY DO NOT GET INVOLVED IN ANY TENANT-TENANT ISSUES INCLUDING HARASSMENTS! THIS 55+ Apt complex is run like an Assisted Living Facility.DO NOT RENT AT EVERLEIGH SHORT PUMP 55+A VERY MIS-MANAGED APARTMENT HOME PROPERTY

TrustpilotFabricated noise ordinance - blatant cover up
we have endured months and months of being awakened in the middle of the night--2am, 3am, 4am and so on-- and kept awake, by our upstairs neighbors who have admitted to us in a letter that they work during the night from home and sleep during the daytime hours--the exact opposite of when most residents adhere to the state-wide and community expressed quiet hours of 10pm - 7 am to refrain from making loud noises. There is a large family in a 2 bedroom who get up, shower, dress, use their washer and dryer and other computers and heavy machines--we can even hear them on their keyboards above our bed. Their constant banging is a mystery to us--they rarely leave the home even in daylight--but the banging can go on all night. We were advised by our management to record videos to demonstrate frequency and noise by date and time which we did. We played management a sample to hear. After more complaining to management, including verbal, written and in-person meetings, we were informed that a Notice to Cure was sent. The noises and banging nightly continued, also recorded by us. Management then asked for copies of the recordings which we provided, as well as preparing the legal position of both the community lease and this county's (Polk) noise disturbance ordinance--both clearly stating the quiet hours 10 pm - 7 am, tenants' right to peaceful enjoyment of their property, and the county noise ordinance stating NO decibel level is required to constitute disturbance. After 5 months of sleepless nights, management then informed us that their company's lawyer had advised them that unless they created a disturbance above 75 decibels (!), no further action could be taken. They offered us a different apartment, or the option of leaving altogether without penalty. They also advised us to get a white noise machine. We refused all 3 options--none of these 'solutions' curbed the problem of the neighbors' noise. We next asked to speak with their lawyer to seek a copy of this 'so-called decibel ordinance' since it directly contradicted the one we had provided. When we called their lawyer, he was rude, refused to speak to us, and told us that we could find the law ourselves. Click--he hung up on us, mid-sentence!We then consulted the Polk County code enforcement police officer, and in two emails to us, the police confirmed that no such decibel level existed to define a disturbance. We once again copied management on the county ordinance and the police reply refuting their interpretation of the law to protect us from chronic nightly, noise. We were informed finally, after sending 2 emails, the first ignored, that management would do nothing further; that we would need to call the police ourselves in future.NO ONE HAS EVER RETURNED OUR CALLS OR MESSAGES TO REGIONAL MGT. NOW OVER 3 WEEKS AGO! NOISE CONTINUES NIGHTLY!!!

I had a horrible experience with the greystar receivable company! They don’t even deserve that 1star at all! They avoid communication at all costs bcz they know they are charging you unfairly for moving out fee! I called them several weeks leaving messages and emails but none of them was answered! I don’t recommend at all! They didn’t give my security deposit back of 500$ and they sent me an email saying that i owe them 900$ for carpet replacement and stove top replacement which i don’t understand why bcz am very sure those had normal wear and tear! I requested for pictures and receipts but none of my messages was responded! They deserve 0 star

TrustpilotRoaches
Moved into an apartment managed by Greystar on 11/17. There was a roach problem, the apartment was filthy, and its been like pulling teeth to get anything fixed. THE ROACH PROBLEM IS STILL NOT FIXED. I'd like to point out that failing to provide a insect free living environment is a violation of Arizona statute 9-1303. I have been as patient as possible but if this issue is not RESOLVED by the end of December, I will be hiring a lawyer.

Trustpilot0 Star communities, Rude management, worst maintenance
Is there a way to give 0 star?Very bad management.Residents are bound to over pay rent and they don't do any single work after you sign the contract since now anything happened, residents are bound to follow the rules but the leasing office is not. Would not recommend this to anyone. They just care about money. There is a high pitching sound coming out of our bathroom which by the way can be heard in the entire house and it affects our sleep. We wake up in the middle of the night and then not able to sleep. But they are not doing anything for this since it is NOT EMERGENCY according to the leasing office and maintenance. They are asking for much more in the rent but the apartment is not even worth $50.AGAIN - Would not recommend this to anyone

TrustpilotDon't live with them unless you want to get scammed!
If I could give 0 stars, I totally would. I really loved living at the M and their management team, even though our closets literally fell out of the walls, I still admired how the M team and their maintenance staff handled it. It wasn't until I moved out and they decided to charge me a $210 cleaning fee did I have a problem with them (did not charge my roommate, but given they haven't returned her security deposit...). I called them the day these charges came out and was told to email their management who can provide me the detailed responses, which was fine by me. It took me 17 days, ~10 emails, and 4 phone calls to finally reach someone, and they told me to "calm down" after I expressed my frustrations. Also, does it even make sense for me to email Greystar if it was the M team who conducted the inspection?

All is great until you move out and expect them to follow the legally binding lease/contract that you signed stating that you will receive your deposit back in 30-45 days.Kelly, assistant manager, won’t return calls or get on the phone when she’s standing right there. Faith has no clue what is going on.Moved out on June 14. Told on June 26 that account was closed out and check would be sent within a week. TWO months later here we sit.Get it together! DO BETTER!!! TrustpilotGreystar apartments - Visconti @ the Glen Camelback Rd Scottsdale
Greystar apartments - Visconti @ the Glen Camelback Rd Scottsdale Unless you have no choice in taking housing at a Greystar property it’s best to look elsewhere. Their online rating about their deceptive business practices says it all. This company has a reputation for keeping security deposits after a renter has moved out and there are numerous online complaints online this issue. Obviously, this is no exception. After I moved out, I received a letter in writing stating that a refund of few hundred dollars was owed to me as the apartment was rented right after I moved out. A few days later a Greystar representative left a message stating that a refund was due to me and that they were looking into having it processed. Then about a week later another representative emailed me saying that there was an error and a small balance was due. No letter was ever mailed out so it most likely means they fixed the books to have the numbers go in their favor so they would not have to pay me the funds owed. The mailboxes for all the apartments use a skeleton key meaning that one mailbox key can open any of the other boxes. The only time in my entire life that I had a USPS mailing ever go missing as at Visconti. Also, maintenance men on several occasions tried to enter the apartment as early as 6am and a couple of times during a weekend. There were no works orders present, or immediate emergency needs and each time was and outside of normal maintenance hours. Ultimately the lock was temporarily changed to prevent possible theft of property as there was no valid reason for them to enter which is a basic violation of renter’s rights.

TrustpilotThe maintenance staff here works hard…
The maintenance staff here works hard and does their best, but management and office supervision are failing residents. In fact, Jencyn ends up conducting the front office more than the actual property manager, which shows where the accountability gap really is. The supervisor is rarely present, pushes accountability onto others, and leaves serious concerns unaddressed. Cameras are installed but not actually monitored, which has led to ongoing package theft. Many doors remain unsafe, putting both children and disabled adults at risk. Staff is often unavailable during emergencies like power outages, and phone calls go unanswered. These are not small inconveniences, they are safety and quality-of-life problems.

TrustpilotPlease listen to these reviews.
Unfortunately I didn't listen to the other reviews when booking from this company. They claim I damaged their unit very badly and requested payment, which was disappointing as my wife and I spent hours trying to clean the unit as to make the companies job easier. To make matters worse, they didn't notify us of the 'payment' and sent it straight to collections. This company has nice units and amenities, but they genuinely will try to milk you for every dime. Do not stay at any of these properties.

TrustpilotMoney First
After a year at Rosalia Verdae, Greenville SC, we had to leave. Management consistently overpromises and underdelivers. The 55+ community is more like an 85+ community. Management tries to come up with something to do for the elderly, like bingo, or wine or puzzles. Because of inequitable application of decision-making, residents have figured out it's easier to ask forgiveness than ask permission. Political postings and christian religious overtones abound, single resident parties of 30+ are allowed, perpetual reservation of limited tables for activities conducted by a few has not changed in a year, disapproval of attendance to activities by more than 4 nonresidents when requested by a reputible community group, and more. Management never asks or considers what the resident wants. All management decisions are plainly associated with a monetary bottom line and/or a fence erected by Greystar corporate.

TrustpilotUnpleasant
Was in hospital for six weeks for my disability. During that time, a request was made for a lease release as an accommodation. The lease was not released, eviction proceedings continued while I was hospitalized, and my belongings were removed. No coordination was made with my listed emergency contact. This experience was extremely distressing and had serious consequences for me.

My experience with a Greystar-managed property has been consistently disappointing, and I believe it reflects larger issues within the company’s management approach. I’m currently a resident at a Greystar property in Hammond, Louisiana, and what I’ve experienced goes beyond one location, it shows problems with communication, responsiveness, and follow-through that seem to stem from corporate procedures, not just onsite staff.

The management of the Shorewood Apartments on Mercer Island, Wa is exactly the reason that property management should be on a local level and not global. I rented an apartment in 1981 and loved it. The apartments were charming and the property managers were in the office and very helpful.

TrustpilotWarning: Scamming Business Practices, Rude Customer Service, and Poor Communication
I want to share my incredibly frustrating experience with Greystar Management, which involved unfair and illegal practices. When we had to break our lease early, they initially tried to charge us a break lease fee of double the rent, even though this was not part of our lease agreement and they were able to immediately re-rent the unit. We questioned this charge, but instead of addressing our concerns, they ignored us for weeks.
