GoogleMark is extremely rude and unprofessional letting agent who calls you just to offend you. While the rental market is tough and competitive, having an agent like this does not really help. Horrible experience and avoid at all cost because they will not act in your favour.

GoogleAs a first time buyer, Franklyn James and in particular Mark Kimber was extremely helpful with the entire process. Mark was friendly, easy to contact, always on hand to give useful advice and I'd recommend him and his services in future. I experienced a few estate agents across my property search and Mark was by far the best. I thank him personally for helping us purchase our first property.

GoogleDylan at the Westferry (Isle of Dogs) office has been absolutely amazing with finding us the right property. His search was very efficient and didn’t waste our time with viewings that wouldn’t be suitable. From that stage to the finalisation of the agreement to the move-in, it has been an absolute delight working with him.

GoogleFirst time ever i had to deal with Franklyn James as they advertised the property for sales which i viewed and put the offer. For my unfortunate experience i had to deal with Jamie from the sale department. When i phoned to check that he received the email with my offer (filled in email form) which was slightly below the asking price, he told me there and then that i have no chance in getting this property as there are other people who will also going to put the offer for this property, but told me that he will send my offer to the seller. 2 days later I was checking Zoopla and saw that the property is marked UNDER OFFER. I never received an email or even a phone call to let me know that my offer has been rejected. So basically i was left in the unknown, I don't even know if my offer even reached the seller to be honest, due to the attitude i was given on the phone (when i phoned to make sure he received the email with my offer). Utterly unprofessional and rude person. I would never want to deal with this company ever again (to buy or to sell my properties) if they accept this kind of behaviour of their stuff towards the potential customers nor i would ever recommend it to anyone.

Thank you for your message. To confirm, upon receipt of your offer, I informed you that there was another offer in place and the amount you offered was not going to be considered by the vendor as it was lower than his expectations. After discussing your offer with the vendor, we had a telephone conversation where I confirmed your offer was not accepted. We did not receive a revised offer from yourself and as such, the vendor accepted the alternative offer hence why the property was marked as under offer on the web portals. You was aware from the outset that there was a higher offer in place. If you feel that this was not handled correctly then please accept our apologies however, I was upfront with you from the start which cannot be denied. We wish you all the best. GoogleFranklyn James were very effective in getting my property sold and the team was always very responsive and accessible. Jamie Hutton was brilliant at the task and he managed to get my property sold in a week. I was very happy and satisfied with the entire process. I will highly recommend Franklyn James if you are considering the sale of your property in canary wharf.

My impression is that they will work against tenants as much as they possibly can. Examples: They asked me for full unredacted bank transaction copies for the purpose of "Anti-Money-Laundering". I refused and they got pushy, but never in writing. Obviously, was a concealed credit check. They also hid a malfunctioning bathroom venting system of the flat during the viewing. After moving out, they gave me a bad reference stating I owe them money even though the tenancy deposit scheme report ended with 0 owed money.

The estate agent, Vanessa, knew very little about the flat and caused us to incur additional expense by undertaking a survey of a part of the wider block which wasn't part of the property. After we had paid a holding fee Vanessa's manner changed completely and she became very rude and aggressive. I have not given Franklyn James one star as ultimately the transaction proceeded according to agreed timelines. I hope that their other estate agents are better but based on my experience with Vanessa if I were selling a property I would avoid Franklyn James.

Vanessa at Franklyn James is amazing - I've never been through the process of buying a house but she was quick, efficient and super responsive. I've heard that the process of buying a place is difficult and stressful, and honestly I have not found that at all with Vanessa and Franklyn James, from the initial viewing to completion was around 2 months (and could have been quicker if it weren't for summer holidays on my side!) Vanessa arranged viewings very quickly and gave excellent advice on expected interest and timelines and was very helpful during the offer process. After that, any questions I had were answered quickly and even ones that had to have seller input came back in a day or two. She was great at being an intermediary with both sides' solicitors as well. Cannot recommend them enough, and thank you very much! Would not hesitate to use them in the future!

We are still going through the legal processes, but they found us a very solid buyer so quickly we were caught by surprise! Their communication has been great, and very reassuring.
