GoogleI would not recommend whether you’re a tenant or a landlord. When we moved into the property they managed, it was absolutely filthy, with years of dirt and grime built up. Although our purchasing contract didn’t include a cleaning service(we purchased with a different agency) it’s the agency’s responsibility to ensure that previous tenants leave the property in a clean and acceptable condition, as outlined in every rental agreement. This failure shows a complete lack of care and oversight. If they can’t enforce basic cleanliness standards, it raises serious concerns about how they manage properties in general. Landlords should think twice before trusting this agency to manage their property, as this neglect could seriously damage its value and reputation. Overall, a highly disappointing experience.

GoogleMy experience with Chris was exceptional. He was kind, helpful and guided me patiently through the whole process until I made an offer for a flat. Regardless of the outcome, which is still pending, I would recommend giving a chance to Chris and this agency to support you in your search. Looking for a flat can be stressful and sometimes even nerve-racking, so it is extremely important to be surrounded by competent agents as Chris able to understand your needs and give you honest advice. Also, English is not my first language and he was really supportive all the time. Thank you very much for your help Chris. I would highly recommend him and this branch.

He showed us around a few properties and while we did not ultimately purchase one of these, Neil was the most helpful agent we worked with and did a brilliant job of showing us around potential properties, explaining the process to us clearly and following up. It was a pleasure to work with him and we would recommend him to anyone!

I switched over from Yopa (who were useless) and couldn't believe the difference once changing to Foxtons, they were so professional and had plenty of viewings booked in. GoogleWe worked with Neil from foxtons to search for our first home. Neil provides excellent services. Even though UK real estate market lacks a buyers agent but Neil manages sellers and buyers expectations amazingly. He got us to view best properties in the area and carefully analyzed the market and our expectations. Visiting property with him was never waste. Each property was definitely worth shortlisting. We would definitely recommend foxtons and neil in particular for superb services.

GoogleAppalling lack of interest from Foxtons Islington in their customer. Do NOT give these people your business. They do NOT respond to emails. They do NOT respond to phone messages. They do NOT do what they agree to do. They do NOT demonstrate the slightest interest or even the slightest courtesy to their customer. I wouldn't publicly accuse Foxtons Islington of being dishonest or deceitful, but I would definitely accuse Foxtons Islington of being disingenuous. If your misfortune extends to any dealings with Foxtons Islington then ensure you communicate everything in writing, to more than one person. Good luck!

We were hunting for an apartment in Islington and he was very responsive, proactive in discovering and displaying new apartments that met our criteria (sometimes before they'd been listed!), drove us between inspections, gave great tours of the surrounding areas, and had some great banter in between. GoogleClaire H was absolutely brilliant in helping us find a flat rental in Islington. Very professional, very effieicent and always willing to go outof her way to help. BUT helpfulness quickly dissipated when we experienced Foxtons property management team who were appalling. Queries were not answered for weeks or until we were forced to speak to management or go back to Claire at which point the issues were fixed. If this had been one employee then it could have been acceptable, however it seems property managements standard procedure is to use delay tactics wherever possible and do everything in their power to ensure the tenant is left severely out of pocket and the landlord has no idea that their property is having problems. These issues extended to two unlucky properties and 4 foxtons employees! A real shame, Foxtons should really use some of their time to recruit some more Claires!

GoogleWhen I'm looking for rental investments I always go to Foxtons Islington because they consistently have good stock that can be viewed right away, when I try to follow leads from the two main property search engines with other agents the properties are invariably non-existent or arranging viewings is painful. James Davidson at Foxtons Islington has been assisting me for a number of years now, he understands my criteria and is never short of good advice accordingly. James is highly available with great attention to detail and he remains very solution orientated under the most difficult of circumstances. For good service I recommend you ask for James and I can't recommend him highly enough. I should add that I also bought my own home through Foxtons Islington a little over four years ago and that I have been buying and selling with them since 2002.

GoogleSarah K was a great help to my partner and me in our house search. She took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for, and was always friendly and professional. We really appreciated her positive and easy going nature- particularly as this was a new experience for us. Sarah always maintained great communication. We were shown a number of lovely properties and Sarah would regularly touch base to see how we were going and if we had any questions. Thank you Sarah for making a pretty daunting process feel a lot more comfortable, and even enjoyable. 4 stars, rather than 5, only because we weren't able to find 'the one' with Foxtons!

We dealt with Tim Watson who really understood what type of property we were after and we found him to be super professional and willing to go the extra mile to help. GoogleHad a great experience finding a property to rent with Siobhan Madden. At the beginning of the process she made sure to send us only properties that were tailored to our specifications. She was also very accommodating and flexible when we needed to arrange viewing times. The rental process itself was incredibly smooth. Siobhan was very communicative and efficient and the Foxtons online system made the whole process very easy. The whole process was complete within a few days of us making the offer. Would highly recommend Siobhan to anyone looking for a property in Islington.

GoogleI rented with foxtons in Islington last year. On top of the constant harrasment in regards to them giving keys out to builders and people entering our flat the flat was also deemed as unsafe by Islington council once I got them involved and they insoe ted the flat. The flat had no smoke alarm at all incase of a fire, no heating system at all just 2 plug in heaters, no proper ventilation, no safe doors but most Importantly was deemed unsafe by the council because it was extremely unsafe in its layout. We spent 10 months trying to sort everything out and ended up.with half of our rent back. Foxtons also use contracts that favour there clients (landlords) which is unfair and illigal. I strongly advise not using them if renting a property, if you do use them then download a list of things you need to check in the new house/flat and insist it's all done before moving in, also make sure a break clause is written into the agreement.

GoogleBuying or selling is not easy, Foxtons have been very supportive from the start, taking on viewings for sale of my flat with a difficult tenant in place. It was never a hassle, they dealt with the tennant and made the best of a difficult environment at the property. They attracted many viewings and got me several offers. They were at their best though when a buyer wasn’t able to secure a mortgage on offer, they acted swiftly and secured another offer within a week. Thankfully this time it all went through and I would like to thank all the team at Foxtons Islington for their dedication, support and expertise, in particular Stuart the Manager and Beto who has so much enthusiasm and positivity. GoogleFinsbury park Branch is amazing, Especially Christopher Lockwood, he made me feel very comfortable, he is a very reasonable sales man, as much as he want you to take the place, he want you to be happy in the place you take. very attentive to your needs and helpful in terms of trying to get you the best you want from a property. Lucky he who ends up dealing with him, Man is a breath of fresh air.

Our experience with estate agents had been, at best, mediocre until I had the pleasure of working with Sarah who helped to purchase our home.
