Foxtons Islington delivered one of the most frustrating and poorly managed end-of-lease experiences I have dealt with. The entire process was unnecessarily time consuming, disorganised, and required constant chasing on my part. For three weeks, I had to call daily just to get basic progress. No one appeared to understand what was happening with my case at any given time, and there was zero sense of coordination between staff. A simple example highlights the level of incompetence. I returned the key on the agreed termination date, yet a week later I was contacted to “confirm” whether I had returned a key fob for building access. The property does not even use a key fob system, it has a keypad. This alone raises serious concerns about how records are managed. The situation worsened when the staff member initially handling our early termination, Freja, left midway through the process. There was no proper handover, and all progress effectively disappeared. I then had to chase the agency myself to identify who had taken over, which turned out to be Daria. Unfortunately, the service did not improve. Communication remained poor, updates were either vague or non-existent, and it was unclear whether any meaningful action was being taken. Basic tasks such as contacting the landlord or providing clear information seemed beyond reach. Overall, this experience reflects a lack of internal communication, accountability, and basic operational competence. I would strongly caution anyone against relying on this branch to manage time-sensitive or complex tenancy matters.

Having had the property with another high street agency for several months and no luck I didn't hold out much hope but I then switched to Foxtons and worked with Cemil and the team and couldn't have been more impressed. They managed to secure a great offer in just 3 weeks and exchanged in just over 4 weeks. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Cemil and his team.

I just purchased a flat from Foxtons and was very impressed by their agent Zack Dodgson throughout the sale process. I found him to be not only excellent at his job, but also a pleasure to do business with. In particular, Zack was: - Incredibly knowledgable about property generally as well as the Islington area; - Oversaw the entire process end-to-end from initial viewing to handover of keys; - Was responsive at all times and extremely proactive in moving the conveyancing along; - Displayed excellent tact with the seller and great communication skills throughout; and - Was simply a joy to work with - I always felt comfortable and in good hands, which is so important when making an investment as big as a home purchase. In my opinion, Zack went over and above. In my extensive experience of dealing with estate agents in the London area, I have never had such a positive experience before. Thank you!

Awful communicators who made both our life as tenants and our landlord’s life difficult, all of this with very little to manage, and with mentally high fees charged. I would not trust this branch with my property, and advise you to stay clear.

Only good things to say about Foxtons islington! Especially Nicola Georgiou. I had very particular requirements, needed space for my furniture, allowing my cats and not on the ground floor. I had an offer on another property that wasn’t accepted and Nicola proactively contacted me to be the first to view a new property which was all I wanted and more. She is a polite, professional and excellent agent. Worked with the landlord to ensure we could find a good agreement on being semi furnished and accelerated my offer so swiftly ! I cannot thank her enough for her amazing attention to detail. She also communicates impressively and was always available for the myriad of questions and support I needed. Thank you so much! I'm not quite sure how to get across how incredible my experience with Foxtons has been. One person in particular went above and beyond in many ways to help my partner and I land our dream flat. We owe Nicola a massive thank you. She cared to REALLY understand what we needed, communicated and negotiated on our behalf and made herself available on WhatsApp even in her own time, late in the evening. We have worked with many estate agents and Nicola is head and shoulders above each of them; persisting to leave both tenants and landlords heard and happy. Nicola is a credit to Foxtons and is what an estate agent should be.
