GoogleFoxtons really are worth every penny. I have been so impressed with their service and they have been a joy to sell with, professional & proactive. I tried cheaper Estate Agents but the service and results were reflected in that! Foxtons have done a stellar job, Thomas Lebbern and his team, Samuel! You've all been great! GoogleSam Toufique from Foxtons is a standout. During our property search, we have dealt with many a real estate agent, but none of them have measured up to his professionalism, friendly demeanour, communication and knowledge. Thanks Sam.

GoogleTom at Foxton's Battersea helped me and my partner find our first flat together... in just ONE day. Tom had called and asked for what we were looking for and the next thing we knew, he had two places for us to see and encouraged us to offer …

GoogleWORST EXPERIENCE EVERY
If I could put a zero-star rating, I would. Avoid this agency (Foxtons) and most particularily this branch AT ALL COST.
The staff there is unprofessional and incompetent. My roomate and I rented a flat for a short let (3 months) through Foxtons and our experience was terrible and shocking.
First, the agency wouldn't let us visit the place before signing he contract and directly asked us to pay several thousand pounds before moving in. On the day of our moving in, we were shocked by the catastrophic state of the property : the amount of dirt and dust, the state of the furniture (broken blinds, broken window in the bathroom, rusty dishes, and the list is still very long...). We discovered on the day of our moving in that the building was under construction (which was never mentioned to us before) and we had to suffer continuous noise pollution during our stat (with our bedrooms looking onto scaffoldings). As students, we needed a quiet place to study and this property was everything but that.
The homeowner have several spare keys spread different agencies all over London and one evening, at 9pm, a handy man working for one of these agencies burst into our place, unannounced, trespassing our property. This kept on happening and Foxtons did NOTHING to help us with all the issues we had to face. They never sent a handy man to work on the furnitures even though they were in a pitiful state, they are totally incompetent and unprofessional not to say dishonest.
We moved our over 15 days ago and never heard back from them regarding our deposit. The report they had filled for our check out is outrageously wrong, which clearly means they intend to keep our deposit unrightfully.
Honestly, I have never seen anyone treat a tenant that way. They will always side with the homeowner, even when the homeowner is wrong and put us in danger on numerous occasions.
AVOID FOXTONS AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!

GoogleBeth was fantastic in negotiating the purchase of our new home.
She is very prompt to respond to emails and communicated every step of the way to ensure there was a seamless transaction.
She is enthusiastic about her job and a great asset to Foxtons.

GoogleTerrible letting company. They don't keep the site updated with which properties are already unavailable, even if you make an offer online or schedule a viewing, no one will actually call you or email you back. We called the office on about 4 different occasions and left messages but no one ever called us back and the secretary didn't have any useful information besides telling us who was the agent that will (not) be calling us back. On the website, they also don't list the availability dates of the properties or whether they are furnished or not either, so overall, pretty useless company because you can't get any useful information on their site or by calling them. The site looks nice though and appears like it might have been a reputable company at one stage though, i'll give them that

GoogleAgent who showed us around couldn't answer any questions about the property and couldn't initially find the entrance.
Now at the end of the tenancy we are owed over £1000 in rent which we have been waiting for since December (they're quite happy to remind you to pay each month). Also waiting for the deposit to be returned.
After handing in the keys at the Battersea office and a note being taken for which property they were for on our move out date (as instructed on the foxtons website), I have been hounded by my old landlord as Battersea said they were never given any keys!! They were (miraculously) 'found' a few days later. Maybe if you value your keys, don't let with foxtons. I've rented with many agents in London and foxtons has been the worst BY FAR.

GoogleWith the rental market being what it is right now it is easy to get desperate but PLEASE believe me and every other person who has had the misfortune of being a tenant using this agent when we say AVOID AVOID AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
They aggressively increased the price beyond our limit claiming that we were in a bidding war even when we were okay to let the peoperty go
They called us non stop while on holiday demanding thousands be paid to secure the property asap because many people were "interested"
The property was in an absolutely shocking state and they have refused to fix anything since we have moved in. They ignore emails and serious maintenance issues claiming it is our responsibility to fix issues when we just moved in.
They gave us our check in report a week late likely so they could lie about what we caused at the end of our tenancy and keep our deposit.
I have never even while renting with another foxtons branch seen such incompetence and lack of regard and refusal to fix things in a timely manner especially for tenants who just moved in. They are unprofessional and unscrupulous. No matter what DO NOT USE

GoogleDon’t do it!. Held visits of my property without my permission. Took commission fees and charges of over £7000 for a tenancy that I cancelled in writing, which they said they would pay back. Still have not been reimbursed. Also charged for management fees , for which I never agreed upon.
Foxtons also charged the tenants rent and took deposits totalling over 4000£ , full well knowing that I had cancelled the tenancy. Furthermore holding the money for 2 months before finally if informing the tenants that the agreement would not be going ahead, loosing them two months of flat searching.
Probably in financial difficulties, as withholding money..
The agents ignore your calls and emails.

GoogleIf you are lucky enough to have Kerry to work with your golden. Quite literally everyone else has been an absolute nightmare. We had zero communication as our tenancy was coming to an end, despite trying to communicate with them and giving plenty of notice. Only to find out they were cutting corners with changing names on the lease rather than drawing up a new contract. My former flatmate had a name change in JANUARY and they still have YET TO CHANGE the CONTRACT to show the change, even though we had signed paperwork back then, it is still unresolved. I have been moved out 10 days am still awaiting their action. We will never use Foxtons again.

GoogleA massive shout-out to Oliver Steele! If you're looking for an estate agent who is interested in the details of finding your dream home- he's your guy. He has been an absolute pleasure to work with and I can't recommend him enough! He has market-leading insight and goes above and beyond for his clients. We ended up closing on our auction property today and we couldn't be more thrilled. Cheers to Oliver!
Once we decided to privately bid on an auction property, we were then transferred over the auctions team.
Auction properties are quite tricky and as a first-time home buyer, there were lots of things I wasn't aware of. I appreciated Lewis from the auctions team for being 'always on' and diligent with phone calls and emails. Auctions move quite quickly and all the due diligence that comes with traditional home buying goes right out the window. Be prepared to move fast! Especially if you have exclusivity, be prepared to move at lightning speed and work with your solicitor to get everything done as fast as possible. The Foxtons team worked really hard to get this signed, sealed & delivered, as well as making sure both parties were happy. That showed throughout the whole process.
Thanks Foxtons!

GoogleWe started working with Calvin Drysdale few weeks ago looking for our new home. I have to admit, I was genuinely suprised that I finally found an agent, who is actually interested in listening and understanding the client's needs. After our initial conversation, which I felt actively listened to, he booked an hour appointment to show us few flats. After the viewings, we had a call to follow up to discuss our feedback to plan the next round of viewings. It's refreshing to meet an agent, who actually listens and understands the customer's requirements in a new home and and making arrangements in a timely manner.

GoogleGenuinly dreadful. We let our property through foxtons and paid for their managed service. From start to finish, despite charging massive fees, they were absolutely hopeless. Very slow to respond, agents know very little about the market, they advertised the property incorrectly to prospective tenants, loads of hidden fees, and use useless third parties for tasks like inventory and check out etc. Would strongly advise using another agent to save yourself money and hassle
