ABSOLUTELY UNPROFESSIONAL, beyond rude agent Alfie Santaniello who interrupted me, was rude , his tone was despicable and it is the first time I have ever seen such a disrespectful agent to a client. On top of that, my brother and I liked a flat at a set price, this agent and the landlord tried to force us and make us bargain on the price of the flat which is never seen!!!! The price was 6285 per month and called us multiple times to try and make us give 7000. When i argued and said this is unprofessional, scamming and forcing us and I have never seen it he was beyond rude and as a client WHO WAS FORCED MULTIPLE TIMES TO GIVE HIGHER PRICE AND WE AGREED 6400, I WILL NOT ALLOW AN AGENT TO TALK LIKE THAT. SCAMMERS, DO NOT USE HIM AS AN AGENT. FOXTONS, shame on you!!!!!!! What a disappointing and disgusting behavior!!!!!! His tone, his interrupting was way out of line!!!! Do not use his agent!!! What a manipulation!!! Not an agent a manipulator to make us give much higher price than the one that is stated claiming they gave it for 7000 before. Then why put 6285?!!!! Scamming and unprofessional on so many levels!!!!

Had a great renting experience overall. Maya was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. I was moving to London from overseas and could not view the lettings in person but Maya made everything so much easier by being communicative and patient with my questions. Today I got a flat from Foxtons where David Alyan was not so kind to help us, we made some requirements as one room had a broken blind and DAVID ALYAN said he was going to fix it, but was so persistent when it came to the money and when we moved in we saw that the blind was not fixed so got back to David and he said that we had to ask the landlord (even though he said he had already fixed it) about it. Really disappointed with their professionalism

An atrocious estate agency (at least this particular branch in Marylebone)!!! Avoid as they do not put the customer first before the money. I was interested in a property not far from Edgware Road and I was told it was available. The lettings negotiator by the name of Alberto was dealing with my enquiries. If I had of known how much of a time waster he was then I would have stopped the conversations altogether. I'm not a psychic so I learnt the hard way. I wanted to view the property or at least get a video of the property from both the inside and outside before placing a holding deposit. Note that the holding deposit should be a WEEK'S RENT AND NOT 5 WEEKS! Alberto and his office were pushing me to make a deposit of 5 weeks without giving me any way of viewing the property. I called the office today chasing up on my interest and they said" Oh we cannot help you. Speak to Alberto" (bogus lettings negotiator). How can I talk to this inept Alberto when he abruptly ghosted me and ignored my calls and texts once I wanted to view the property by any means before making an offer?????? Basically, they do not want to help you if one of their staff members is incompetent. According to this branch's website, there are two lettings negotiators so if one is providing rubbish customer service then the "pros" in this branch should have referred me to the other one or take on my enquiry head on to leave a good impression for the customer! Bunch of incompetent fools chasing for your money without providing good customer service and hesitant to allow a viewing based on my experience. I've wasted some time composing this review but it is worth it if others are informed about the appalling customer service from this obnoxious branch!!!!

The worst experience I have had while renting in London in the past 8 years. Foxtons rented out an apartment with no working heating and never did anything to resolve the matter. They as well as the landlord were aware of this issue beforehand and failed to mention anything during the enquiry about the flat. The Foxtons property manager told us to think about how much money we would be saving in not running the central heating instead of anything being done to address the issue, and went through the whole winter (one of the coldest reported for London) without any heating!! They also neglected to fix a boiler for over 7 months, running up our electricity bills and after numerous phone calls and messages asking them to have someone come look at it, it finally took place 8 months after the issue was raise. To add to that, the engineer who came to finally fix it informed us we were lucky the boiler didn’t blow. No accountability or explanation from Foxtons as to why this happened or why it took so long to arrange. They have no regard for their tenants who come to them looking for a home, I would implore anyone looking to rent in London to consider seeking another agent as this experience with Foxtons is one that has put myself off for life, and I would hate the thought of anyone else having to go through what I did for the last year. I went through all the proper channels to tried and speak to someone about my issues but it seems the designated property manager, the letting agent and even upper management all the way to a lettings director do not care to help, as they stop replying to messages or emails, dodge calls and never return call back requests. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. From the experience I have had, even one star is too generous.

I was supposed to have a viewing for a £1.5m flat in Marylebone with Venetia from Foxton. Two days before the viewing she called to change the viewing time to early morning on Saturday. On the day, we arrived at the place but she never turned up. We’ve emailed, texted and gave her a ring but with no success. The branch also couldn’t reach her and suggested that we just go home. It was a cold morning (3 °C) and we had to wait on the street for 30 minutes being very confused. Later on the same day, she sent a short email saying she had cancelled our appointment due to personal reason and that she whatapped me. Absolutely no hint of apology or feeling sorry for the fact that we’ve wasted our weekend morning just for this viewing. I received no whatsapp message from her.

We’ve rented a flat this summer and Harriet was incredible during our process, paperwork was done flawlessly and moved in very smoothly. But the flat which is managed by Foxtons was not cleaned prior our arrival and none of the minimum maintenance was carried out before and after we moved in. We repeatedly told them that we were ok to bring someone to fix things in the flat as it felt like a council flat. We were told not to do anything until we get approval from the landlord. And then we were told that there is no budget. Well fixing the few light fittings and bathroom taps etc shouldn’t cost much. Regardless there were no follow up no calls to see how we get along. My husband said we should get someone to fix things as we’ve been living like this for more than 2 months. Sorry to say this but Foxtons can not manage this property on behalf of the landlord.NegativeProfessionalism
