Foxtons London reviews

Alright agency, but once you contact one agent for a property, other agents from different branches and location start calling you with apartment options, it was non stop. At the st johns wood branch this agent took me on a hour long trip showing places that were either out of my budget or location radius. Kept calling me again saying let me show you new places, but would never share pictures of the apartment over email, which I found fishy. I would avoid.

Sarah from Foxtons was simply an amazing lettings agent, absolutely recommend! Having talked to so many agents from different companies across London, she was the only one that truly took an interest in helping us find our ideal home, took the time to understand our interests and recommended appropriate properties. She stayed positive after a few that didn't work out, so we felt we could be honest on our expectations for a properly. I cannot recommend Foxtons enough, if you ever need help with a letting, ask for Sarah, she is simply great!

Worked with Foxton's to rent a property and was impressed with the service. Our agent was organised, answered a large number of questions quickly, was transparent about fees and costs, and was plesant to deal with. Very professional. Was worried we might experience problems after reading some of the reviews and hearing a few negative things about Foxtons... but pleasantly surprised so far.

Shah has helped me while I was looking to buy my first flat. As you know it's a long process, but he was always helpful, first taking me through the details of the house buying stages, and then following up consistently to find the perfect flat for me. In addition to that, it is very useful to know that Foxtons has a lot of branches all around London, so it was easy for him to extend my search to other areas as well. I would definitely recommend working with Shah and Foxtons.

Great office and employees, especially Marina Bozzo, who not only went out of her way and agreed to schedule a viewing on her day off, thus adapting to my busy schedule, but also was very supportive & professional during the offer and contracting process. Thanks to her, I'll have a great place to live. Highly recommend the Foxtons office and Marina especially as an agent!

Had a great experience with Sarah viewing multiple properties in a day. She was attentive, friendly, and very helpful. Although I did not ultimately rent a flat through her, I would definitely recommend her for any potential future business.

I have been dealing with Deborah from Foxtons in St Johns Wood sales for over five years. Deborah is knowledgeable on the area and takes the time to assess her client's needs. Not only is Deborah an absolute professional in terms of her communication and listening, she is super understanding and friendly. Outstanding service and would definitely recommend! Kim Aleong

I would not recommend renters to use this agency or branch in particular. I recently rented with them and they are impatient, misleading and uncompassionate. While these may not be most necessary characteristics of an estate agents, they are still essential to ensure a positive, recommendable and stress-free experience when renting. The agency do nothing but demand inconsiderately and do not prioritise the tenant but of course solely the tenant's money and force large sums of money yet can not save important documents, even spell names correctly or keep the correct tenancy agreement copy. I won't get started on the 4 week long "technical" problem they had regarding referencing, nor the inexistent inventory and nonchalant reaction. The team lack initiative, customer care, experience and knowledge. For a stress-free, pleasant experience when renting in London, these are not your agents. They told lies and miscommunicated numerous times and I cannot stress this enough. I will certainly not be renting, buying or dealing with Foxtons in the future.

Ammar at the St John’s Wood branch was (and is!) incredible. He made the process of searching for a flat fun and was very personable and attentive. He was incredibly patient with us throughout the many viewings he organised for us until we found the perfect flat and always took our feedback onboard. We felt really comfortable with him throughout the process and could not have asked for a better person to guide us through our flat search.

Adrian Sandu is the best agent I have worked with so far. Very communicative and understanding, he listens to your needs and tailors the properties to the clients mindfully. Highly recommend him, he made the apartment-hunting process much easier and stress-free.

Aline was our agent and made our experience a pleasure in what would otherwise be a stressful and uncertain time. She is hardworking, persistent and invested in her clients' happiness and I would recommend Aline unreservedly to anyone. She managed to find us the flat of our dreams and recommend this branch highly enough.

Sold a property through Foxtons, very aggressive in getting you a buyer - which is good. They were extremely annoying when it came to buying a property, I wasn't interested in buying through them as their selection on available property was poor in comparison to others. They persisted, which was frustrating. I was then pretty much begged to use their recommended solicitors, as they were so eager for further commission. The solicitors were a nightmare, absolutely useless. Would only use Foxtons to sell, nothing else. Then I would block their number after.

We tried to sell our property in summer ‘22 and summer ‘23 with other agents with no success. But Ben and Brian at Foxtons sold it quickly and for a good price this summer. And stayed with the purchase until it was exchanged. We’re delighted and will certainly use them again.

Louise Messaadia's help in finding us a rental property has been invaluable. She spent considerable amount of her time to help us look for rentals that were not only within our budget but also in the right location. I would definitely recommend Louise to other individuals looking for a property.
