We are so incredibly thankful to Nezam! We had viewed over 40 properties with various brokers but none that we truly loved. Nezam had sent us a property that from the listing we knew we would love but we were hesitant to visit because it was over our budget. No other broker had shown us this property because they did not see the opportunity. But Nezam did. Nezam knew that we would love the apartment and he also knew that the landlord wanted to rent. He saw beyond the price. He saw that a deal could be made. Literally the next day after seeing the apartment we signed the lease. We had no doubts we would love this flat to be our home and Nezam knew it too and he made it happen! We are so incredibly thankful to Nezam for making this happen! He will work relentlessly to get you what you want. He sees opportunities and knows how to negotiate deals! We have also been highly impressed with how easy it was with the signing and move-in. You are not the priority. Commissions are. The landlords are. But not you. The agent that helped us (Nazham) was really rushed into doing everything, showed us flats different of what we asked and so rushed that was a really dangerous driving involved. When sending options, it was the same. Ignoring important factors like location or size. On the phone the size was 40sqm. Then it was 38sqm. In the floor plan it was 35sqm... Like, what!? When asking if we could bring our furniture "no, you don't need that. It's better to have the landlord's". Yeah right. Maybe I can decide on that? Anyway... We didn't get the flat we wanted, which is fine, because at the end we got a better option with another agency. When he called me to check how the search was, I have barely said "we found a place" and he was like "ok then byyyeee". What I take from it is that what matters is only a big fat commission. Regardless where I was going to live for the next 3 years. Some understanding and empathy would be highly appreciated. The manager though, is a reeeeally nice guy.

Foxtons tricked me into renting a 2 bedroom apartment when I needed a 1 bedroom and to make it worse did not reveal details of the work pending at the apartment complex which is now so noisy, disturbing my peace of mind to state the least after paying such high rent. In addition, 6 people got trapped in the elevator of this apartment complex for more than an hour as the emergency button wasn't working. It's a new apartment complex. I had to call fire extinguishers as the emergency security person associated with the apartment kept us waiting and waiting without being able to help!! Foxtons take zero responsibility to ensure people are not left in dark when they show such apartments. All they need is a fat commission!

I have experienced consistently bad service from the entire letting team at this branch. Over the two years I have been letting through the St John's Wood Office there have been far too many mistakes to count and I dread having to engage with them. Even simple tasks are met with incompetence, delays, and disinterest. What I found most worrying was that they were very helpful up to the point that we signed the letting agreement and they had received their fee; beyond this point the service I received quickly declined.

watch out. they will visit current tenants’ flat without giving notice in advance and lied to you they did. they don’t cooperate internally properly. as current tenants, you will be bothered by 5+ representatives at the same time every week at the nearly end of your tenancy. if you show your unhappiness (because of their sudden show up) in front of their clients, they will turn bad to you too. if you are landlord and hire them to find tenants for you, they will attribute some failures to current tenants, such as the flat is dirty currently; current tenants refuse the visit (but actually they will come even without sufficient notice ahead.)

Its been a breeze working with the team at Foxtons. They are consultative and will give you both sides of the coin when choosing a flat. I would recommend them if you are looking for a quality place to stay in London. They have the best listings too. Sophie in particular has great customer service and was amazingly proactive with her follow ups and having our back when it came to getting things done. A really good experience overall.
