Charley Griggs provided a realistic valuation for my one bed property, which is always reassuring, but he also showed ambition and outlined the methods to achieve the highest price. He provided a competitive offer for the overall service and fees and was keen to accommodate my needs. He supplied a very comprehensive and detailed picture of the service and how best to market my property, with useful comparisons of local recent sales. He gave a very thorough and impressive picture of the company's approach and resources they use. He is clearly experienced and knowledgeable and I feel you would be safe in their hands and assured they would do their best for you.

Some medication posted to our house was wrongly delivered to the next street, to an empty property managed by FJ Lords. When I called the estate agents office to explain the situation Stephen Ikpeme immediately went out of his way to collect the letter and deliver it to us. I had not expected to find new tenants quickly so when Mariella called me to say that a couple were prepared to move in more or less immediately I was surprised and pleased in equal amounts . She gave me all the information briefly and concisely , leaving nothing out . She answered all my questions directly and explained all the relevant options as to checking the property , deep cleaning etc . I don’t usually write reviews but our experience has been so appalling I thought it was important to share. Our experience with Felicity J. Lord stoke newington was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. The handling of our move-in was chaotic from start to finish. We were informed only two days before our scheduled move that the flat would not be ready, leaving us with no choice but to arrange temporary accommodation for an entire week, with no discussion of compensation despite the significant inconvenience and additional costs. The delay was said to be due to work being carried out in the property; however, when the revised move-in date arrived, none of the requested work had actually been completed. We arranged our movers based on the key collection time provided, only to receive a phone call while the van was already packed and en route telling us the flat was still not ready and that we could not move in. Already distressed by the situation, the agent Ellesse yelled at me on the phone. Throughout this entire process, communication from the agency, particularly from our agent, Ellesse, was poor to nonexistent. We received no proactive updates, and on the day of the move, our calls and emails went unanswered until being informed the flat wasn’t ready. When we arrived, no one from the agency met us, and we ultimately had to rely on a builder who happened to still be on site to hand us a spare set of keys so we could access the flat. Upon moving in we discovered the flat had failed its electrical safety certificate which Ellesse told us had passed. This not is not only unsafe, but illegal. We moved in over a month ago and the majority of the outstanding maintenance issues still have not been handled. What makes this even more concerning is that several members of Felicity J. Lord’s own property management team acknowledged to us directly that this situation should have been handled better by the agent. Despite this, nothing was done to put things right. I fully expect Felicity J. Lord will respond with their own version of events and explanations about what was “out of their control,” but the reality is that they let us down repeatedly and made what should have been an exciting move into a new home an extremely stressful and unpleasant experience. I would not recommend renting from them.
