GoogleI literally just walked into this agency when I started to search my new home, sat down with a member of staff who showed me the the very first property next day and I fell in love straight away with the flat. It was just perfect; the location, the size, the condition and the price of the rent as well. It was pretty hard to believe but it was that easy. I guess I was very lucky that day. Felicity J Lord since then did an excellent job. They are professional, quick and very reliable. A really focused and client orientated lettings agency. I can only recommend it to anyone.

GoogleThe worst estate agent ever,they are making good money from victims like me,I arrange a property viewing they got me from that moment to sign a piece of paper without explaining any thing . They got a less holding deposit £1000. And they ask me either to pay 1 year rent in advance ,or to get a guarantor,I got a guarantor but what they were ask from the guarantor was to much basically he should give his life away to them no body will accept their stupid unfair conditions. An other thing about these agent why you shouldn't rent by them their fees are unbelievable Tenancy set up fee £330 Checking fee £144 .no idea what's that for Plus they are lazy,useless , unhelpful once they got your money they don't reply to your emails or your calls They don't refund the deposit they are very good at manipulating not to do so. My advice to any one who is thinking to rent by felicity J Lord You are going to regret it keep away please

GoogleAwful estate agents. They are disorganised and dishonest. I had multiple experiences of FJL trying to deceive me and charge additional costs for the tenancy agreement. The office manager does not return calls and their business processes do not work. Strongly advise managing the process yourself using online tools and drafting your own tenancy agreement. In today’s world these agents bring little to no value and they will undoubtedly make multiple mistakes.

GoogleIgnorant, xenophobe and arrogant - actually unprofessional. I'm asking myself if some landlords wonder why their property doesn't go. First I was interrogated why I wanted to leave my current flat before speaking about any of their properties which we actually didn't. Never had that before. I'm working in a highly paid IT job on a freelance basis and offered references from my accountant. This was ignored. I was asked to pay 6 months in advance - I denied. I kept being interrogated and finally asked whether I would have a UK accountant AT ALL. Then I was asked to put down a £ 1000 (one thousand) holding deposit..... I wasn't allowed to view the property with the excuse they wouldn't have to keys (I would be alarmed now as landlord!). Complete waste of time unless you are a masochist and enjoy being humiliated. Wonder how they survive!

The Trusted AgentOver-valued flat
I put my flat on the market in Apr 2014 on the basis of FJL's advice of asking price of 425-450k. THis was even though the previous sales in the block of similar flats in Oct 2013 had been at the 330k level. They justified the price by the lack of decent stock and a huge increase in demand. Despite me being very particular that I was after a quick sale and did not want the price to put people off, they continued to recommend 425-450k. I had quite a number of viewings in the first couple of weeks, but then they dropped off substantially. I then decided to lower the price to 400-425k but this only had a small effect on viewings. After about a month I eventually got an offer at £408k which I accepted, but this fell through within two more weeks. Thereafter I received the odd viewing but no further offers and the agents seemed to lose interest. Ultimately I took the flat off the market completely, In the meantime, two (identical) flats in the block had sold for a price that i would have been happy with - 400k and 429k, one apparently though a different branch of the same agent!
